Description

DIY Inventions by Richard Cromwell
Guides an Inventor through ALL the Invention "Success Steps" to develop an initial idea into a new product which will earn an income.

How to Evaluate your idea to see if it will earn money,

How to select your best idea to start the Invention Success Steps,

How to check to see if your Invention is in the market place,

How to Check the Patents Office for your Inventions,

How to Draw the Inventions,

How to Write Technically about how your idea works,

How to Protect the Inventions in the World Wide Patent System,

How to find Manufacturers to produce & package your inventions,

Author, Richard Cromwell, has been promoting inventions for 34 years and has been through all the combinations of inventions, ideas, promotion companies and manufacturers, as well as earning royalties.

Not all ideas will make it in the market place.
So how do you know if your idea is the one that will make it to market?

THAT IS WHAT THIS BOOK IS ALL ABOUT.

There are plenty of Invention Books quoting all the "Rules".
This Invention Book does it differently. It is a practical guide with easy straight forward steps that show you "How To" and then instructs you in the fine detail.
All written in layman's terms, with full illustrations.

Remember you may have a great new invention but if it can't earn any money then put it on the shelf for a rainy day.

Ask yourself:
"Will anyone buy my idea", or "Will it sell 100,000 or a million items or more?"
If your answer is NO to these questions then forget it. Invent another idea.

GREAT IDEAS are great because they make a great heap of money.
Make sure you fit into this category of "GREAT".

DIY Inventions By: Richard Cromwell
HOW TO USE THIS BOOK
There are a lot of Invention Books that tell you the “Rules” of inventing and give a general overview of what happens. But none of them show you “How To” to build an idea into a tangible product that makes money.
This book is a practical training book to help you develop your idea into a successful new product. It has Internet Links through-out the entire book.
These Links will take you to constructive web pages to help you learn how to manipulate the data in a way that will help grow your idea into a New Product that will earn you royalties.
You can still read this book without the Internet as all the “Link” Web Pages are displayed in the book. But to gain practical internet experience it is by far better to read the book on your computer screen and follow the “Links” as required.
The Web Page Images have been captured from a browser which has lowered the quality, making some pages hard to read. It is better to go to the Link and view the relevant Web Page live.
Because the Internet is a growing organism, where tomorrow is a new day with new ideas & new products, some of the “Links” may change from time to time.
This “going to a link” can sometimes disrupt your reading place within the book. Before clicking or going to a web link put a bookmark in the Book to make it easier to return to and continue at the right spot.

DIY Inventions
Introduction
Back to Main Menu .
Promotion Partners, such as Invent Help, Davison, Lambert, to mention only a few, all charge fees; some are in excess of $10,000. They will do a great job in promoting your Invention with the view of securing a License Agreement with a Manufacturer.
Unfortunately not all ideas will make it to the market place.
You have to make sure that your Invention is going to be the right one. The right one to “Make It In The Market Place”!! But you don’t want to be spending over $10,000 only to find out that your idea failed.
This Book was written to show you a low cost method to help you judge your own Invention. The Success Steps Program shows you each step of how to develop and judge your Invention to determine if it will be a money maker. The Program is in a simple to understand format and you don’t have to have great skills to figure out what to do next. You can go at your own pace and still be in charge of your own Invention results.
When you have judged your Invention on the basis that it will make money, you can approach the Promotion Partners with confidence that your Invention is going to be successful.
Do the simple approach first “DIY Inventions Success Steps” .

Success Steps ™ Introduction An Overview of How to Get The Most Out Of Your Idea.
Why These “Success Steps” Were Written
This Inventing Guide was written to help Inventors find their way through the maze of procedures required by a large number of bureaucratic areas of industry, both government and private, and to eventually have their New Product pay a royalty income. It sometimes takes years to find success, and sometimes it takes years to find out that no one wants your great Idea!
The Basic Question that all new Inventors ask is:
“I’ve got a GREAT IDEA;” “Now what do I do?”
- The Market Place:
• How do you find out what products are in the market place to see if your Idea is there?
- Inventor’s Skills:
• Most Inventors create a New Product in an area they know very little about.
• With great fervor they learn the new area [like learning a new Trade!] and start developing the new Idea.
• Once built, then what?
• Each step to get the Invention into the market place requires a new “Skill”
• i.e. making the Prototype, writing the Technical Description, Drawing, Patent writing, Manufacturer Letters, Presentations, etc.
• Very few Inventors have all the skills. So, many good Ideas are lost forever!!!

- - - Page 7 - - -
- Pro’s & Con’s of Invention Marketing Companies:
• Should you use an Invention Marketing Company to do all the hard work of finding the right Manufacturer?
• How much do they charge?
• Will they be more serious about your Invention or some other person's invention?
• How successful will they be?
“The only worthwhile person to push your Invention is YOU”
The DIY Inventions Success Steps have been put together to assist You with each step to take on the long road to getting your Invention to become a New Product sold in the market place.

CASE STUDY
A REAL LIFE Example of the Basic Invention Process:
This Real Life Invention Case Study was carried out by the Author o ver 35 years ago. The principles are the same today.
I started with my first Idea (an Art Board Carrier) to make some real money. My job was paying for the family bills but with nothing left over.
I built a prototype and gave it to my wife to take to her Oil Painting Art Cla
