This is often where beginners face problems: one needs to make several devices (telescope, spectroscope, camera…) work together. François Cochard, is a French amateur astronomer, and co-founder and manager
of Shelyak Instruments company. He was deeply involved in the design and the
manufacturing of instruments that are today considered standards: Lhires III,
LISA, eShel, Alpy 600. As the organizer of the Spectro Star Party every year at the François Cochard
Observatoire de Haute Provence, he has assisted a lot of observers in their frst steps
