Japan is one of the most visited country in the world. It is home to the seventh largest economy in the world and has the second largest territorial area after China. Japan has a rich history full of earthquakes, wars, Tsunami, fires, hurricanes, epidemic and crop failures. Along with this long and varied history, came a unique and highly advanced culture. Japanese culture is also traced back to its earliest pottery which is around 16,500 years old.
When Japanese began settling in other parts of Asia they brought with them their language, culture, food and customs. In order to understand Japanese culture better, you must first understand that the Japanese government controls all aspects of its economy. Everything from farmers to fishermen, factories to shoemakers, school children to royalty are controlled and dictated by the Japanese. The Japanese government has also kept in check, the foreign trade and Japan has the largest economy in the world second only to China.
The imperial household also controls every aspect of the daily lives in Japan and as such their influence is widespread. The imperial family rules over the Japanese economy, including politics, education, finance, healthcare, media, and business. The imperial family exerts its power through the ministries, police, media, and corporations. All sectors of society in japan are controlled and run by the Japanese, which includes the smallest grade schools to the largest. The imperial family also exerts its power through the Imperial household constitution known as the shakai.
