H AVE YOU EVER HAD A WEIRD DREAM?
Y OU KNOW THE kind of dream where you wake up suddenly and think, Wow! What was that all about? What did you do about it? Did you ponder on it? Did you tell someone? Did you try to look it up to see what the internet had to say about it?
Sometimes, God speaks to me through dreams and visions. Usually, I just write them down. I may ponder a bit and think Wow God! That was a really cool revelation.
But, one Saturday morning I woke from a strange dream. I wrote it down quickly before I forgot any of it. I prayed and asked God to give me the interpretation for the dream which He did. Then, I asked, "Okay God, What do you want me to do with this?" He said, "Share it with the world. Write a book."
So here it is.

This just in … brought to you
by God
M Y S TRANGE D REAM
A YOUNG WOMAN with kids had just moved out of her home in a hurry and I was going to move into her vacated place. So we went over to move in and we brought very little with us. All of the young woman’s possessions were still there as if she had abandoned the place in a hurry.
There were coloring books, crayons, markers, stickers, and jewel stickers open on a small table. There was stuff still in closets, even dishes in the cabinets in the kitchen. I thought to myself that the kids would like that stuff I saw on the table. I don’t remember the kids being with me in the dream. But, I thought the kids were there.
From inside the house, I opened the door to the garage and saw a huge shelf unit along one wall on the right side of the garage. On the farthest side of the shelf unit near the front of the garage on the top shelf was a giant black spider. It looked like a giant stuffed animal spider. I saw it and closed the door, not thinking anything about it.
Then, sometime later, not sure when, I went to the kitchen and the kids were with me nearby somewhere. I went to turn on the water at the kitchen sink. The whole faucet broke off in my hand.
Next scene, I’m at a place that is like a restaurant. But, it’s a huge place, big and busy like a mall. I’m looking for someone in particular. I left my table and whoever was with me at my table to go and find him. I found him at a small half booth. He was sitting on the bench seat against the wall. I went up to him and started talking to him. I was standing. He was sitting. I showed him the broken faucet. Yeah, he could fix it. I remember trying to show him the stuff hanging from it, washers and stuff. Were they corroded too? The bottom part of the faucet where it broke off looked corroded. The stuff inside or on the underside of the faucet, the washers or whatever was there, I wanted him to look at it too. Was it corroded? He didn’t really want to see all that stuff hanging from it as if dismissing it. Then, two people came up right away. People he knew. Maybe they were joining him. Not sure, but our conversation was over.
Then, I was back at the house again. I remember seeing the huge stuffed animal looking black spider a couple of times in the garage. Sometimes it would move its legs around like someone moving when they are sleeping. Then one time, I saw it inside the house laying on the couch with an occasional leg move. It always laid wherever it was as if it was sleeping. Every time I saw it I was aware of it, but not afraid of it.
Then I remember talking to the young woman that used to live there. I would tell her that this or that was at the home and she could get it. She always said no. That’s okay. She already got a new one. She didn’t need it.
Then I was at the house and there was a little bird that flew into the house through the sliding glass door in the kitchen. And my cat immediately jumped up to attack the bird. I didn’t want my cat to attack the bird and I closed the glass door quickly. Rather, I tried to close the glass sliding door quickly to prevent the cat from getting the little bird while opening the screen door to the outside at the same time to allow the small bird to escape. Anyway, that was my plan. My plan was to close the glass sliding door so the cat was blocked and open the screen door to let the bird go free. Just as I was about to close the glass door…
Suddenly, the giant, black, stuffed animal looking spider appeared and was trying to get in the house! The fixer guy suddenly appeared next to me and attacked the spider. He stabbed it with a sword and the spider immediately disappeared.
I looked down at the floor and two miniature things appeared on the floor. They were very small, about 2-3 inches tall. They looked similar to toy men from a popular children’s movie. I quickly stepped on them and squashed them and smeared them across the floor to assure their demise.
Immediately, everything was broken. Everything was okay. Like a spell being broken or an enchantment being lifted. Everything was bright and cheery again. Everything returned to normal.

So, that was my dream in its entirety. I asked God for the interpretation of the dream which I will share with you.
First, we’ll have a look at the details of the dream. The details give us representations of things in the dream. We gain insight from the details and what those details represent. All provide clarity. So, let’s have a closer look at the details, shall we?
T HE S PIDER
I T WAS VERY strange to see the enormous spider in the garage. I thought it was odd. But, it did look like a huge stuffed animal, like a plush toy so I wasn’t alarmed. I don’t know what I thought initially, if it was a huge toy or a decoration. But, it was very much out of the ordinary. What was it doing there?
The spider looked very furry and soft, like a huge plush toy or a stuffed animal although it was huge, way too big to pick up and it was too big to play with. It was probably about 5 feet in length and maybe 3 feet high across its belly.
It was all black. It appeared to be very furry and soft looking. It was similar to a big, giant soft pillow that you could curl up and lay on. It was big and very fat, quite plump.
Was it alive? It appeared to be sleeping and once in a while a leg would move. So, it must have been alive if it was sleeping, right? It was lazy. It was comfortable.
What was it doing in the garage? How did it get in the house? Who let it in? Why was it laying on the couch like a huge pet?
Later, it was outside. What was it doing out there? How did it get outside?
Initially it looked non-threatening, just a big, fat stuffed plush toy.
Later, it was extremely frightening, menacing and angry.
D EMONIC P RESENCE
T HE SPIDER REPRESENTED a demonic presence in the home. That demonic presence was a demon that took the form of a spider. So, let’s delve deeper into what that means. What are some attributes of spiders?
C OME ON IN…
The spider spins an inviting web like a welcome mat. The victim is completely unaware of the danger that lies ahead.
This spider’s web represented lies and deception. The spider looked like a stuffed animal, a plush toy. A toy. Who would be afraid of a toy? So the victim is unaware that he or she is wandering into a well laid trap.
Spider silk is very strong. It is very sticky. It sticks to whatever or whomever touches it. Spider strands run throughout all of the house creating a cheerless gloom. The spider strands are transparent so the victim doesn’t see them. The victim is unaware of the spider strands. The victim cannot see them. The people who live in the house are the victims.
Ever notice how a dreamcatcher looks like a web? The spider strands reach out like a dreamcatcher catching the hopes, dreams, desires and aspirations of all who dwell there. Only to take those precious dreams and desires and then dash them to pieces leaving the victim to feel sad and depressed, full of loneliness and despair. The spider strands infiltrate every part of the person’s life.

The spider then wraps its victim many times with the spider silk. The person is full of bitterness and regret, with feelings of failure and unworthiness resulting in hopelessness. The spider begins to feed slowly, continuously. Remember, this spider was very fat. It had probably fed on many victims. The more it fed. The more it grew. It grew and grew slowly draining them, slowly draining their lives away.
This spider was lazy. It was sleeping. It was comfortable. Have you ever looked at a pet cat? They lay around like they own the place. It is their house. You just happen to live there too. This spider was like that laying around like he owned the place. He definitely thought it was his house.
The shelves in the garage were metal shelves. Metal shelves are very stro
