About the Authors

Introduction
Dear Re ader:
The following pages contain a story of how God reached down and touched the lives of three people in the same family, simultaneously, through the miracle of healing. Each one tells her own experience and feel ings.
The purpose of this story is to convey that God’s
healing power is available to everyone - T ODAY!
Although the three individuals are from the same family, their approach to the things of God was entirely different. Perhaps you will find yourself, as I did, living their experiences as you follow their testimo nies.
Writing their own stories are a mother and her twin daughters. Together, they attended a Kathryn Kuhlman Miracle Service at the Civic Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on October 24, 1971. On that day all three were healed almost simultaneously, in an unusual manifestation of the Holy Sp irit.
This book is a threefold testimony of their personal encounters with the healing power of God, and the fullness of His Holy Sp irit.
So often we hear words to the effect, “Healings do not occur today,” or “Healings do not last,” or “Healing is of Satan,” or “They had some emotional experience,” etc. This book is a witness to the fact that healings do occur, and they occurred in the lives of three people who, although they grew up with the above ideas conveyed to them through the traditional teachings of others, were nevertheless drawn to a miracle service through curiosity, need, and hope.
At that miracle service their lives were changed, emotionally, physically, and spiritu ally.
How do I know?
Because - at the time of the change, I too was in the area of unbelief when it came to God’s healing power being manifested today through one of His faithful servants, and I did not attend the service with them. However, I can attest to the results and validity of their stories, for I am the husband and fa ther.

MIRACLE NUMBER O NE God’s Special Touch
by Evelyn Harper
“The telephone is ringing early this morning,” I said to myself as I walked over to answer it. It wasn’t really early, but it took me so long to get started in the mor ning.
If I had known the wonderful miracles that would result from that call, I would have run to answer it. For it was the beginning of a plan God had already conceived for healing me and my identical twin daughters - Jeanne Zeman of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Joanne Davis of Lubbock, T exas.
Looking back, I can see that God had a heavenly plan for us, although we were completely unaware that He really cared so much fo r us.
“Hello,” I answered rather we akly.
“Mother,” (It was Jeanne) “would you like to go with me to a Kathryn Kuhlman meeting at the Civic Center in T ulsa?”
“Who is Kathryn Kuhlman?” I a sked.
“She is an evangelist, and miracles occur in her serv ices.”
Being a Baptist and having heard about miracle services , I didn’t want any part of one; though theoretically I did believe in miracles. So I said, “No, I don’t feel like g oing.”
“Well, I have three bus tickets reserved,” Jeanne said, “but I guess I can find someone else to go wit h me.”
On second thought, but with some doubt, I relented, “All right, Jeanne, I’ll go with you.”
Several days later we decided Joanne should fly in from Lubbock to use the third ticket. Thus began a series of events which were to change all our lives, not only physically, but also emotionally and spiritu ally.
For twenty-five years I had been suffering from an inherited form of arthritis (only recently named
