Insights from Chapter 1
#1
The book We Will Not Be Silenced examines every cultural issue we are facing, and explains why they are happening. It exhorts us to respond to what is happening, and walk toward the fire rather than run away from it.
Insights from Chapter 2
#1
The disciples asked Jesus how many people will be saved, and he replied that the gate to the heavenly kingdom is narrow, and many will seek to enter but not be able. In other words, more people will be lost than saved.
#2
Compassion is often used to support and justify ungodly lifestyles. We tell ourselves that we don’t speak about our faith because we fear offending someone, but in reality, we are afraid of being thought of as judgmental.
#3
I dedicate this book to those who seek to stand for the truth, despite the possible vitriol, and consider it a badge of honor. I also dedicate this book to all who believe that the day of casual commitment to the gospel must come to an end.
Insights from Chapter 3
#1
The secular left does not believe in America. They want to destroy it and build a new one, free of racism, poverty, and white supremacy. They will vilify, bully, and shame you until you admit to the mistakes of the past and embrace the secular left’s utopian vision.
#2
Cultural Marxism, the theory that best explains the inequalities of our society, is being taught in many universities. It promises income equality, racial harmony, and justice based on secular values rather than Judeo-Christian morality.
#3
The nuclear family is an obstacle to Marxism, because it breeds inequality and feeds on greed. If the family were to be disbanded, the Marxist vision of equality could be realized.
#4
Marxism relies on the state taking control of the economy and providing financial security with cradle-to-grave benefits. It proposes a government-planned economy, and in the end, says that state rights should supplant God-given rights.
#5
Marx was right in pointing out that oppression exists, but his solutions are entirely wrongheaded and destructive. By ignoring the biblical doctrine of original sin and individual responsibility, he sent his followers down a path of endless and unresolved conflict.
#6
The organization Black Lives Matter, which was formed using the slogan black lives matter, has gained widespread national and political support. Those who don’t support it are often denounced as racist.
#7
The American family was under attack from cultural Marxism beginning in the 1920s, and it has continued to grow worse since then.
#8
The trans movement has further broken down gender distinctions, and Christians are expected to happily accept the new norms.
