Description

In this second edition of Praise and Worship: Heaven's Street Address, Dr. Brown adds to her already polished, literary compositions that are, even now, are being embraced by the Body of Christ. Capturing the relevance of a changing church, Praise and Worship: Heaven's Street Address, along with her other works, Evangelism: Go Make... (Matt. 28:19), and Holy Spirit: Fruit and Gifts Seminar, offer the components vital to the expression of today's church. These expressions must be embraced by the church so that the membership can experience Brown's exacting ability to interpret and process praise and worship for today's church.

ENDORSEMENTS
Following the path of the twenty-first-century church, this season’s transitional shifting within the church presents the Body of Christ visibly standing on the precipice of the coming move of Yahweh . It is imperative that these transitional shifts, or changes, are captured by those who can present and interpret said changes to the church population. It is in those interpretations that members of the Body of Christ can capture the essence of the changes that help them to become an informed church. In doing so, the manifested intent of Yahweh is revealed to the twenty-first-century church for His glory and edification.
In her second edition of Praise and Worship : Heaven ’ s Street Address , Dr. Althea M. Brown adds to her previous polished, literary compositions which are, even now being embraced by the Body of Christ. Capturing the relevance of a changing church, Praise and Worship : Heaven ’ s Street Address , along with her other works, Evangelism : Go Make … ( Matt . 28 : 19 ) and Holy Spirit : Fruit and Gifts Seminar , offer the components vital to the expression of today’s church. These expressions must be embraced by the church so that the membership can experience the great exactness in Dr. Brown’s ability to interpret and process praise and worship for today’s church. This work, Praise and Worship : Heaven ’ s Street Address , adds to Dr. Brown’s willingness and ability to accomplish the task.
As you embrace this guidebook and study aid, prepare to be engaged, enlightened, and empowered. Let it usher you into another realm of Yahweh ’ s presence.

Dr. Althea M. Brown’s guidebook and study aid is packaged and formatted to be taught in the church TODAY. Dr. Brown’s excellent work demonstrates academically and how praise and worship work together to assist in ushering one into the presence of the Holy Spirit; a person will experience empowerment, miracles, healing, revelation, deliverance, and more.

Dr. Althea M. Brown’s Praise and Worship : Heaven ’ s Street Address , Holy Spirit : Fruit and Gifts Seminar , and Evangelism : Go Make … ( Matt . 28 : 19 ) are guidebooks and study aids written in a relevant format for today’s masses. Like an ideal tour guide, they provide just enough information to make sure that you do not overlook the most notable features. They will satisfy the questions and concerns that are associated with a new journey designed to deepen your individual understanding.
According to the Book of Life, Yahweh has made Himself known in a variety of ways, so that we, with His assistance, may be thoroughly equipped for the journey ahead. As you read Dr. Brown’s current guidebook and study aid, you will find yourself oriented and guided with a practical map for your exploration of praise and worship. As you enter praise and worship inspired by the Holy Spirit, your relationship with Yahweh will deepen, making it easier for you to yield to His will. When you trust Him, and yield to His will, the revealed knowledge of Him will release the fruit and gifts that are availed to His people to help establish true worship.
I participated in the praise and worship workshop facilitated by Dr. Brown and experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit. During the workshop, spiritual healings were present and touched us all. I knew that there was a message that would strengthen born-again believers. This writing is a gift to those who seek to deepen their relationship through praise and worship.

Preface to the Second Edition
It is my deepest excitement to complete this second edition of Praise and Worship : Heaven ’ s Street Address . The original edition, published in 2017, has been used by a variety of users, especially college and high school students, who are enrolled in Book of Life classes and used in churches for Book of Life studies, workshops, and retreats. I learned the difference in praise and worship as a young girl singing in the youth choir, the Choraleers, at Unity Baptist Church, Detroit, Michigan, led by the late Dr. Dorgan James Needom, Jr. He assisted me in developing my singing voice, and taught me how to enter the gates of heaven’s court in praise and worship Yahweh in spirit and in truth.
I pray that this guidebook and study aid supports a seminar, workshop, or Book of Life study learning environment that will enhance your understanding of the difference between “praise” and “worship.” One of my best supporters and colleagues, Rev. John Woods, who is the pastor at St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church in Rome, Georgia, says, “Praise and worship are fraternal twins.”
This second edition is revised to include more resources and operational definitions. My goal was to improve and enhance the readers’ and participants’ knowledge of the difference between spiritual fruit (maturity) and gifts (ministries). I believe that this edition will provide a clear, more detailed plan for learning and teaching others.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
My appre ciation and thanks to all the churches and pastors for their gifts of wisdom, love, and prayers.
As a young teenager my spiritual journey was ignited at Unity Baptist Church in Detroit, with the late Rev. Dr. Valmon Stotts, Sr., serving as Senior Pastor. I sang in the youth choir, the Choraleers. I served on the youth usher board and participated as a member of the youth step team ministry; my brother, the late Sylvester L. Anderson, and the late Joseph Shaw, were the instructors. I am indebted to all of them for their part in my journey.
As an adult, I continued to serve in ministry. I especially want to thank Bishop John Richard Bryant, Retired ( Emeritus ) Senior Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church and Rev. Dr. Cecelia Williams-Bryant, Retired ( Emeritus ) Episcopal Supervisor of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, who prayed and supported me in writing several books that are used today as study aids; Rev. Norman Osborne, Retired ( Emeritus ) North Presiding Elder, and First Lady Pam Osborne, Retired ( Emeritus ), who gave me unsurpassed advice on writing books; Presiding Elder Dr. H. Michael Lemmons and Firs
