About The Author
Scriptures In I Am Me
INTRODUCTION
Finding my identity has been a very precious and rewarding thing. Yes, the rewards have been tremendous, because I have learned how to accept myself and be okay with being me.
The word precious means extremely valuable; of great or tremendous sacrifice when poised to give away . Jesus is the greatest example of precious seed which God gave for us.
He was given because something of great value or worth was at stake. God made mankind in His own image, but after the fall, He could no longer see His image in man, so Jesus came to restore us to our rightful place. We were and are that exceeding great valuable that God put above the suffering of His Son Jesus.
This is the greatest example which we each should emulate so that we may reap the harvest for which we desperately long for.
We should understand that precious exceeds the ordinary. It takes the sowing of extraordinary seeds to reap the extraordinary harvest. God has sown most precious seed into each of us. Therefore, He is looking for and has a right to expect, an extraordinary harvest.
In order that my life should produce the harvest God intended, I found that the precious seed that I had to release was myself. Me! God wants me! I had to give myself the opportunity to be the person God meant me to be.
Some years ago, God gave me a song I titled, “I Am Me”. I knew it was a reminder for me to be myself. Not long ago, He gave me the directive to write this book, “I Am Me”. It had to first be ingrained in my spirit before God would have me to speak it into someone else.
Realizing that the gifts inside of me are precious and must be released to the world has been a great awakening. I had to learn that I am important, that I am valuable and that someone else needs what God has deposited on the inside of me. It’s not about being conceited or boastful. It’s about fulfilling my appointment on the earth. I bring an important piece to the human puzzle. It doesn’t matter what size piece I am, the puzzle will not be complete without me. That goes for you too. Your piece is needed. YOU are needed.
Perhaps you will see yourself within the confines of these pages. Be blessed as you engage in discovering the real you, grab a hold of it and run the race which has been set before you and, know this-
You’re going to soar!
