FOREWORD
The Gospel Light Church of God in Christ Jesus Apostolic Inc. (GLC ) aims to benefit our local churches.
The mission of the Gospel Light Church is to spread the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to a lost and dying world and to build up the church by carrying out the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:19-20. “Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and, lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” Amen. “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children and all are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call” (Acts 2:38). Ministers of the gospel are empowered to preach the gospel, encourage, and support our community with the infallible word of God. To conduct prayer meetings and create a better understanding and love of Christ. The avowal of love to Christ and the gospel and to enlighten and carry on and perpetuate and create a better understanding of the teaching of Christ.
Use it prayerfully, (in fear of God).

MEMBERSHIP COVENANTS OF THE GOSPEL LIGHT CHURCH
I have been baptized in the name of “Jesus Christ” according to Acts 2:38; Acts 10:44 Acts 8:14-17 Acts 19: 1-7 and believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
I, therefore, pledge myself by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ to live up to the covenants of this church.
(1) I will use no tobacco for smoking, chewing, or any of its habitual forms. 11 Cor. 7:1; 1 Cor. 3:16-17 11 Cor 6-18 1 Cor. 6:19-20; Isaiah 55:2
(2) (I will never be intoxicated with wine or by any strong drink. 1 Cor. 6:10 Ephesians 5:18 Prov. 20:1.
(3) (In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel which becomes women professing godliness. 1 Timothy 2:9-10 Genesis 35: 1-4.
(4) (I will always abstain from those things that would appear evil to my brethren in the church and the unsaved. 1 Cor.10:28-32, 1 These. 5:22.
(5) (I will never forsake the assembling together of ourselves but will be present at every service, except at times when I find it quite impossible to attend. Heb. 10:25; Matt 18:20.
(6) (I will take no evil report against an Elder or any member of my assembly, but will always seek to prove the things I hear before I accept them. Titus: 3:2; 1 Timothy 5:19-21.
(7) (I will never allow myself to be found thinking or judging by corrupt thoughts of any of God’s people but will always think the best of things I cannot understand until I can prove otherwise. Titus 1:15: Phil. 4:8-9.
(8) (I will not take my brother or sister in the Lord before the courts but will always take them to the church in matters where I find it impossible to settle myself. 1Cor. 6:1-6.
(9) (I will have no fellowship with the unfaithful works of Darkness, but I will always reprove the wrong I happen to discover in any member of my assemble; if no amendment, I will take two or three others to help adjust the matter, then, if this fails to bring the desired results. I will take the matter to the church. Eph. 5:11: Matt. 18:15-17
(10) (I will never be yoked with an unbeliever by marrying him or her after I am saved. 11 Cor. 6:14-15.
(11) (As a woman, I will never exercise leadership or usurp authority over an Elder who is spirit-filled in the church 1 Timothy 2: 11-12.
(12) (Upon the first day of the week, I will always pay Tithes and Offerings of money and other things as God had prospered me during the week. 1 Cor. 16:2; 11 Cor. 9:6-8.
(13) (I will always report to the church whenever, I am sick, and report sickness of other members whenever I know of them. James 1:22: James 5:14-15.
(14) (I will always share with the other saints a part of the financial or other obligation of my assembly whenever I am called upon to do so.11 Cor. 8:13-14; 11 Cor.9:7.1
(15) (I will always give due respect to those who are above me in the Lord whatever may be their office in the church. Heb. 13:17.
(16) (I will never rebuke an Elder but will admonish him as a father. 1 Timothy 5:1.
(17) (1 Cor. 11 Above covering the head in worship 1 Cor.11 1-5 & 7 Every man praying or prophesying having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head.

Authority of the Word
“Knowing this that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:20-21).
Salvation – The New B irth
We believe that no one can enter the kingdom of God unless being born again. The New Birth (being born again) includes genuine repentance, water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, evidenced of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (John 3:3-7, Acts 2:38, Titus 3:5, James 1:18).
Baptism of the Holy G host
We believe that the outpouring of the Spirit on the day of Pentecost marked a new era in the Spirit dealing with mankind as prophesied by Joel (Joel 2:28-29 and Isaiah 28:11); the Holy Ghost being the gift to every believer in this age of grace. We believe that speaking with tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4) is the initial evidence of the indwelling of the Spirit; not only on the day of Pentecost for the one hundred and twenty initial believers but for all believers for all times.

The Lord’s Supper is a memorial service instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ. It is to be commemorated by believers only and is done in remembrance of the Lord Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. The unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine are symbolic of his flesh and blood (1 Corinthians 11:24-26, St. Luke 11:15-20, St John 1
