Introduction
The Expanded Awareness Quote Series recognizes that your thoughts determine the world you perceive. Therefore, any meaningful and lasting change always starts with your thoughts. Understanding that you can't control what happens, only how you choose to respond to what happens, places you in control over all events that seem to have control over you.
Each quote is designed to cause you to re-think everything you perceive. Re-thinking is a necessary step in establishing correct thinking. Through correct thinking comes correct perception. Correct perception not only eliminates all stress ; it is the key component to experiencing continuous , undisturbed peace and joy in your life.
Here’s a practical application for utilizing the Expanded Awareness Quotes:
1) Pick the thought pattern or feeling you are experiencing and go to the appropriate category. There are 24 categories to choose from, and they have been classified by thought patterns. Slowly review each quote in that section.
2) After careful review, pick the quote that best aligns with the thought pattern or feelings you are experiencing.
3) Then write it down and carry it with you. For maximum benefits, try to review the Expanded Awareness Quote at least once an hour, and apply it to your current happenings.
This releases you from negative and destructive thought patterns and places you in control over your thoughts, instead of your thoughts being in control over you.
