Sample Book Insights:
#1 Energy medicine can address both illness and prevent it. The energy field is the blueprint of the physical body, and if this living blueprint remains sound, the body stays healthy. If the blueprint is damaged, the body follows.
#2 The tools of energy medicine range from elegantly simple to highly sophisticated. Some involve no touch at all, while others involve only the slightest touch. The simplest techniques involve reducing tension and fostering healing, and they progress to more complex protocols for addressing serious health concerns.
#3 Energy medicine is a method of healing that uses the human hand to bring balance and harmony to the body’s energy fields. It is noninvasive, preventive, and cost-effective compared to conventional medicine.
#4 It is time for Western medicine to embrace the energy paradigm and move forward as a more powerful, attuned, and responsive discipline. The subtle energies in the environment were an essential source of information for our ancestors, and they can be seen and sensed by babies.

#1

Energy medicine can address both illness and prevent it. The energy field is the blueprint of the physical body, and if this living blueprint remains sound, the body stays healthy. If the blueprint is damaged, the body follows.

#2

The tools of energy medicine range from elegantly simple to highly sophisticated. Some involve no touch at all, while others involve only the slightest touch. The simplest techniques involve reducing tension and fostering healing, and they progress to more complex protocols for addressing serious health concerns.

#3

Energy medicine is a method of healing that uses the human hand to bring balance and harmony to the body’s energy fields. It is noninvasive, preventive, and cost-effective compared to conventional medicine.

#4

It is time for Western medicine to embrace the energy paradigm and move forward as a more powerful, attuned, and responsive discipline. The subtle energies in the environment were an essential source of information for our ancestors, and they can be seen and sensed by babies.

#5

When you learn the native language of your own unique energies and energy fields, you can read them, hear them, and converse with them. They may not appear in the ways you expect them, but they will still speak to you.

#6

When you don’t set boundaries, your energy system tries to set them for you. The blue-black ink is an energy of life protecting itself, and it is trying to contain your own energies as well as keep out the energies of others who might harm or drain you.

#7

The book has also helped many people with difficult physical conditions turn around their lives.

#8

Energy medicine works with the life force, and part of its power is its focus on the well-being of the entire body rather than simply on parts or symptoms. Western doctors, on the other hand, learn anatomy on cadavers - the flesh without the force, the limbs without the life.

#9

The emerging paradigm is that health is influenced by the invisible energy anatomy of the human body. It is old, and has been present in every culture and medical tradition before ours.

#10

The nine energy systems in the human body are the electrical, electromagnetic, and subtle energies that make up the body’s electrical, electromagnetic, and subtle energies. The chakras, meridians, and aura have been identified, named, and worked with in the healing traditions of other cultures.

#11

The meridians are the energy pathways that transport energy into, through, and out of your body. The chakras are concentrated centers of energy that supply energy to specific organs. They correspond to a specific aspect of your personality and resonate with one of seven universal principles.

#12

The aura, chakras, and electrics are three separate but related energy systems that serve as a bridge connecting all the other energy systems. They are not an independent energy system like the meridians, but they are rather intimately related to all the major energy systems.

#13

The body’s energies spin, spiral, curve, twist, crisscross, and weave themselves into patterns of magnificent beauty. The equilibrium of this kaleidoscope of colors and shapes is maintained by an energy system known as the Celtic weave.

#14

The basic grid is your body’s foundational energy. It is like the chassis of a car, and all the other energy systems ride on it. If your grid is damaged, it does not usually repair itself spontaneously. Rather, the other energy systems adjust themselves to the damaged grid.

#15

The more you look at the fundamental building blocks of matter, the more perplexing everything becomes. The human body is a system of living energy, and energy medicine appears to be on the right track.

#16

Western medicine tends to wait for broken parts and broken systems, and then tries to fix them. Energy medicine, on the other hand, focuses on your body’s overall functioning and is as much for the prevention of illness as it is for treating it.

#17

The idea that energy fields impact biological development is still unfamiliar in our culture, but powerful examples have made their way into the public eye. For example, the heart transplant patients who have information about the person whose heart now beats in their bosom.

#18

The Western medical paradigm is based on the belief that the body is a collection of matter, and that energy should not be involved in medical treatments. However, modern science has shown that every facet of biological regulation is profoundly impacted by the invisible forces of the electromagnetic spectrum.

#19

The role of energy in regulating biological processes is largely ignored in conventional medicine. This disregard means that procedures are more invasive and less precise than energy medicine.

#20

The energy paradigm is gaining ground in conventional medicine, and for good reason. Energy fields can evolve and adapt quickly, keeping up with the rapid and unending changes in the physical body, environment, and other energy fields.
Insights from Chapter 2

#1

The Connecting Heaven and Earth exercise is a simple way to help keep your energies in a good flow. It has been found in numerous cultures throughout history. It is easy to do, and it helps you integrate the left and right brain hemispheres and activate the radiant circuits, which carry the healing energies that you experience as joy.

#2

The prayer position is a sequence of stretches that helps you connect heaven and earth. It involves spreading your arms wide, then bringing them together in front of your chest, as if pushing something above you and something toward the earth.

#3

Clearing the body of toxins is as important for personal health as removing garbage from local neighborhoods is for keeping a city clean and robust. The liver is a chemical-processing plant that carries out some 100 functions, including filtering toxins and waste products from the blood.

#4

The Hoku point, which is the fourth acupressure point on the large intestine meridian, is one of the most widely used points in acupressure and acupuncture. It releases stagnant energy from the liver meridian, which governs the ligaments.

#5

Massage the foot point that corresponds with the Hoku point, at the V where the big toe meets the second toe on the top of the foot. It also feels great to massage and clear the gate reflexes between the tendons of each toe.

#6

The lymphatic system helps move both chemical and energy toxins out of the body. The body’s movement during your daily activities and exercise helps stimulate the flow of lymph.
