Description

This book is an intermingling of topics, firstly addressing the challenge that occurs around diet and food, as in the common day, both appear to go hand-in-hand in our search for well-being. The book aims to identify that first to tackle the physical world of food, we must tackle the mental diet and how we have been applying this mental diet to our world since our birth into this world. Do you want to see real physical change and truth for yourself rather than just adding another book to the shelf with no real change occurring? If yes, then this book will take you on a journey to do that. Information in this book will challenge and compel you to address the real issues that may be occurring with food or the part of life that food is impacting you and impacting on your fulfilment. I do not consider this a diet book at all - but well and truly a book designed to diet the human soul, starting with the thoughts we think or the thoughts that have been imprinted on us from an early age. Start the journey, start the mental diet and begin your way back to not only a healthy weight physically but a healthy weight in all aspects of your life.

Purpose
The intention of this small book is not to create a new diet or rewrite information that has already been written. The prime purpose of this book is one of reflection – beyond food, beyond the traditional diet structure. If you are looking for an easy fix, this is not the book for you – if you are looking for effects on your life greater than just diet – this then is the book for you.
I have tried to set out the book as simply as possible – a number of the definitions have been interchanged throughout history so it would be beneficial to continue to research after this book is finished. This knowledge is what ancient authorities and great minds have realised as time has gone on – I rewrite the information that has been accepted for a few but still needed for many.

Definitions
Conscious mind – This is your immediate tool, the one that picks apart every piece of information entering our 5 senses – it is useful for immediate situations; however, it is dramatically limited in understanding the whole picture of life.
Subconscious – Your subconscious has been with you since birth – it stays with you when you sleep unlike the conscious mind that shuts off for the night; the subconscious mind is the treasure trove of possibilities and opportunities for everything you can imagine in your life including changing your diet. See it as a magic lamp that you already hold inside.
Collective subconscious – This is the collective subconscious of the world – it takes form as a grouping of beliefs from the greater population around you, i.e. red light means stop – this is only accepted by the greater population however is only a colour and only a word, not a whole truth which will be discussed more in the book. The collective subconscious impacts you whether you like it or in both negative and positive ways – it’s important for real change to occur to address some common assumptions of the collective subconscious and its impacts.
True Souls template – or meaning to life – This is the part of you that we often discount or put on hold for the other perceived demands of life – it is the main goal of your existence and once achieved, allows for dreams to be realised.
Willpower – the result of when your subconscious and true soul’s template are working in harmony free of discord and conflict.
I ask you keep an open mind before embarking on the journey reading this book and highlight the prior events leading you up until the point of picking up this book.
What has occurred? Why hasn’t the past diet books worked for you? – How will this book challenge that or your pre-conceptions heading into reading it?
Please leave all this at the metaphorical door and keep an open mind in regards to your own reflection and journey and there may be some gold mixed within this personal reflection.
Be mindful that this can be applied to any person if they want to change for their overall well-being, if they do not want change it will not work, this is the defining factor. Good luck.
Chapter 1: You Eat What You Think
“As you sow in your subconscious mind, so shall you reap in your body and environment.”
Joseph Murphy
An array of different diet books have just confronted your mind before picking up this one – Vegan , Vegetarian, Low Carb , Using fat for fuel , fasting etc. etc. It is not surprising that in our modern day there is more choice than there has ever been not only in diet but in lifestyles. This choice can mean a roller coaster ride for the individual that cannot find the appropriate footings – it would be fair to say the average person in the world would be bombarded by a number of advertisements, opinions and behaviours throughout their day that all impact on the end result of diet and lifestyle – the result being either good or bad depending on the filtering system or the awareness of a filtering system.
Now knowing the climate we are in – What if I was to tell you that all these dietary choices and lifestyle choices are solely and entirely based in your thought that gives it power and that success lies in mastering this thought?
Sounds easy from first view that controlling thought is the key factor but evidently for most of us it’s like pushing the boulder up the hill. The issue then is understanding that thought can have a number of layers and as previously defined the subconscious is one layer that many people are still unaware they have. Living on the top layer of normal day-to-day consciousness although evidently needed, disables us to our subtle reactions and behaviours and usually means we are like a leaf in the wind pulled this way or that way due to not understanding the other layer of the subconsciousness.
The subconsciousness is the grand master – the one that decides what happens next – it’s an illusion that you feel like you are in control currently as the moment you feel like you need to eat this has been programmed into your subconsciousness through repetition and conditioning – You did not consciously decide you were hungry – you are prompted by the subconsciousness that due to your programming at this usual time you eat something.
This basic awareness of the subconsciousness then throws up the curtain to an understanding that if the subconscious is the one pulling the strings, what is the relationship between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. The greatest understanding you can come to around this is an understanding that although the subconscious is directing you currently – the conscious mind and your awareness to change and make decisions right now can influence the subconscious. The conscious mind is reminiscent of the captain on a ship and the subconscious is the crew – the crew take on board all instructions directed by the captain, good, bad or the otherwise. The crew do not talk back or say to the captain why are we heading this way or that way? – They just make it happen all day every day.
At this point in time you the captain have fallen asleep – while the crew continue on hitting into icebergs or sailing to Treasure Island – it is all dependent on how you have programmed or conditioned the crew.
So now if we understand that ‘we eat what we think’ – meaning the thoughts we command to the crew becomes our reality; it gives us a good starting point in once again getting the ship back in control.
From this overview then and the understanding that thinking has great power, we then can tackle the labels and potentials for its application to food.
I am not talking about thinking ‘junk food’ into healthy outcomes – I am talking about your deep-seated thoughts about food. Some of these thoughts have been with us for a very long time and their evolution and our awareness around them are allowing us to see the damage that has occurred.
Remember the thoughts You have to finish everything on your plate , It’s Christmas so I need to eat the turkey and It’s Easter where is the chocolate?
Although these common thoughts are a part of society if these impact on your well-being, it is important you address how they have been assimilated into your thought patterns and how to rework these. Some people m
