#1

The most common reason individuals seek medical care is pain. It is the most common reason individuals seek medical care, costing Americans more than $100 billion each year.

#2

The relief of pain is an amazing feeling. It is hard to truly appreciate how great it feels to be pain-free unless you have experienced an ongoing ache or pain.

#3

I have treated pain associated with practically every disease, disorder, and chronic condition that has a name. I have helped people get their lives back by helping them find a simple solution to their pain that also had a positive effect on their overall health.

#4

Acute pain is caused by a one-time event or trauma that produces an acute injury with intense, sometimes excruciating, take-your-breath-away pain. Your nervous system uses this pain to get your attention in order to avoid further injury. However, just because pain comes on suddenly doesn’t mean it’s acute pain.

#5

The most common pre-pain symptoms are stiffness, soreness, throbbing, heaviness, tenderness, and tightness. If you have these symptoms and more than one other pre-pain symptom, you might have an illness or disease.

#6

Pain and discomfort are your body’s way of getting your attention so you will take care of something. I will help you discover what your something is and show you how easy it is to take care of it.

#7

Acute pain is usually caused by an injury, but sudden chronic pain is far more common and can be caused by everyday activities. It is important to make the distinction between sudden chronic pain and acute pain, as the latter will almost always become a full-blown chronic pain that will either come and go or come and stay.

#8

The connective tissue system is the source of your pre-pain symptoms. It is constantly morphing and adapting to your movements and positions to support your joints, bones, and organs. It becomes dehydrated from excessive compression, pull, and friction.

#9

The first step in resolving pain is to treat your connective tissue, which is not as passive as once thought. New research has shown that this tissue is vital in our well-being, and it can be easily accessed and treated.

#10

The connective tissue system is linked to the autonomic nervous system, and together they regulate posture, joint position, and mind-body communication. The interdependent relationship between the connective tissue system and the autonomic nervous system is what allows proper muscle contraction to occur.

#11

There is no cure for chronic pain, and doctors can only treat it by ruling out illness or disease as the underlying cause. When there is no immediate reason for pain, doctors will look to rule out disease.

#12

The MELT Method can help you resolve pain that falls in the chronic gap. If you are healthy and pain-free, MELT will help you stay that way proactively. If you are recovering from an injury or receiving medical or rehabilitative care, MELT complements this care and in many cases, improves your results.

#13

The myth is that if you have joint pain, it’s due to muscle imbalance and weakness. However, the truth is that when you have pain, it’s not because your muscles are weak. The connective tissue system is responsible for misalignment, imbalance, and chronic pain and discomfort.

#14

MELT will help you undo the negative effects of your active lifestyle so you can get all the positive results and none of the negative side effects. If you aren’t currently active because your body doesn’t feel good or you don’t feel able, MELT can help you turn that around.

#15

I’ve solved the puzzle of chronic pain, and I want to share what I know with you. I want you to understand the systems that are currently unaddressed by medicine. When you activate your body’s healing mechanisms with MELT, you will experience more than just pain relief.

#16

I was once taught about the connective tissue system, which is a fluid-filled network that connects and protects the body’s systems. It gives each system its individual space at the same time.
