About the Author
Danielle Jackson is a certified holistic nutrition coach, yoga teacher, personal trainer and qualified school teacher from the UK. She is on a mission to inspire and transform as many people as she can to live a healthy, more vibrant, energised and beautiful life.
Danielle holds workshops on nutrition and yoga currently around Dubai and the UK with a goal to take this to further destinations around the world. She specialises in eating disorders, anti-aging, eating for beauty, gut health, weight loss, superfoods and healing your body from within.
After Danielle was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder at the young age of 18, she set off on a mission to heal her body from within using only food. After extensive research over the past eighteen-plus years, Danielle is now ready to share everything she has learnt.

Chapter 1

Introduction
At the young age of 12, I remember my first pimple appearing, which later turned into a full blown acne. I was covered. My back, my neck, my chest, my shoulders and my face. No joke, it was everywhere. I felt gross. I covered my face with toxic make-up to try to conceal it and make myself feel prettier but it just made my skin worse. I then developed blackheads, whiteheads and enlarged pores. I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t wear strappy tops that showed my shoulders or my back, as I looked horrific. Not only were they hideous to look at they also caused me a great deal of pain. They looked like boils. I spent a good few years trying to get rid of them with various off the shelf toxic cosmetics. I would bathe in Dettol baths, steam my face, go to saunas, sunbeds and try the newest acne lotion to dry out my skin. I even went to the doctors for medication. I was prescribed various antibiotics to take internally as well as apply externally
