Description

A breakthrough in spiritual psychology, the reader begins with an orientation to self as a multidimensional being living fully aware in the fabric of life. Then, self takes us into a deeper discovery of how to transform the beliefs and traumas that distort the morphic field that holds the physical self. Through self forgiveness and energy techniques, we are able to deconstruct limitation and balance distortion thereby transforming our sense of self from ego to soul. In complete presence, our ability to see life through soul eyes makes available a power level of unconditional love that is the true transformer.

To those who understand that in the depths of their heart lives the transformation of human kind.
  Acknowledgements
With deep gratitude, we recognize the vision and dedication of Neva Dell Hunter, Ellavivian Power, John Clark McDougall, and Ralph Gordon for translating the healing of Phineus Parkhurst Quimby into what we now call Noetic Balancing.

We have never been alone. For that we give thanks to the Travelers, Avatars, Buddhas, Christs, Sahdus, Rishis, Imams, Priest, Pastors, Teachers, Shaman and Initiates who, through the ages, guided, lifted, taught and were there to show us the way.

EYES MADE OF SOUL
Consider, each moment of your life.
You breathe in and out.
You are alive.
Some moments are easy.
You respond: more clothes or less, a smile or a frown, silence or laughter, yes or no.
Then, something really humiliating and dangerous happens.
Did you respond well?
Did you measure up to your ingrained standard?
Did you get the love and nurturing that you needed?
You seem like a victim, but you actually blame yourself.
You ask yourself: Am I good enough? Lovable? Sufficient?
And you decide.

You fold your precious life force into a container of belief
and it becomes a law inside of you.
It drops into your unconscious and emerges in the noetic field
that fills the space around your body,
telling you and others who you believe yourself to be,
             your story.

You wrote your story using your serial responses to each moment, each event,
woven by each breath into a phantasmagoria
walking down the street in its atmospheric delight,
pretending it is a real person.

Reality shuffles itself to match your stacked deck.
Reality folds in upon itself in order to match your specifications.
Your DNA takes notes.
Your dynamic flow of life throttles itself down
             to match your selected rate.
Your perfect life form conforms to imperfection upon your decree.
I am unlovable, incapable, shameful, doomed to live out a story
that says my role in life is to promote my servitude
so I can belong and get what I need.
Or its corollary: I am special, self-made, destined to pluck from life and others,
whatever I want to make me good, better, more deserving, dominant.

Your soul light gradually recedes into the darkness.
Love folds itself into the garb of an imposter.
The only reality you can see is the one reflected in the mirror of your life.
It seems so right after awhile that you forget that mirrors
reverse images playing them back to you as if they are true.

All mirror images are reversed.
The most breath-taking world-vista imitates your soul.
So, you seek your soul by striving for images that hand you the opposite of your holiness.
You pile conquest upon conquest, only to want or need more.

Fulfillment is an internal moment between you and your inner light.
Discontent is your friend.
The deconstructed life is your salvation.

Sing love songs into the dark void within,
until the soul returns and lights your way with truth.

Look through eyes made of soul.

The mirror is the gift of the universe.
Your soul is your gift to eternity.
  Forward
There is change in the wind. My sense is that reality as we understanding it is changing quickly. If your nature is to draw you sense of self from your soul, these times are exciting. If you rely on a sense of self based on traditional beliefs, political power or dogmatic certainty, fear is, to varying degrees, haunting your perception of what is safe, certain or true. This book is about a transformational approach that increasingly avails the individual of the living love. The living love is the love that comes through the sense of oneself as soul and mitigates the elements of our nature that makes us prone to anger, judgment and blame as our sources of self and power.
After 40 years of evolution, the material in this book seemed settled by 2007. Then I added the chapter on Zero Point. The reality is that this material evolves as I write, so it is never ending in that sense. I have become increasingly aware of an emergent phenomenon of transformational practices that are actually forms of noetic balancing . Because of that, I felt the need in a recent Blog (2010) ( www.mystery-school.com ) to put this phenomenon in context, as I saw it. Continuing with that inspiration, it seems appropriate to repeat it here as a forward to the introduction to Eyes Made of Soul.
Seeds of Spirit: The Harvest of P. P. Quimby
The words were like keys that opened the pages of my heart. I was young. Like Paul, I wanted to be “face to face.” Like John, I wanted to see the “sky open.” Like Jesus, I wanted to be “one with.” Like the Pentecost, I wanted to experience the “mystical wind.” Ancient seeds fell on fertile soul. One day they sprouted. The sky did open and after that I could gaze into the seeming inner darkness. Images and metaphoric scriptures emerged. It seemed that the true message was for the outer word to awaken the inner ones. The “wind” of spirit spoke to me through my soul.
I began meeting people who experienced and delivered the ancient teachings in a real and tangible way. No more dogma covering the shadows of fear nor political agendas passing as inspired guidance. After my fragile beginning and many interesting discussion with people who had no experience to offer, I was meeting people who experienced spirit and could do things. Christ, to them, was real, up close and personal, in contrast to abstract, historical and dogmatic.
I met Phenius Parkhurts Quimby in Alamogordo, New Mexico. That may seem strange to say, since he allegedly passed in 1866. Trust me, things are never as they seem. That was a scientific principle for Quimby. I went to Alamogordo to study with Dr. Hunter who I met in Santa Barbara, California, in 1966. She was like a circuit rider. She traveled around the United States and parts of Canada, teaching and giving readings similar to Edgar Cayce. She went into a trance state, and an alter-ego would speak that called itself Dr. Gordon, who subsequently revealed that he was Quimby in his past life.
Dr. Hunter, John Clark McDougall, and Ellavivian Power developed an energy healing that they called Aura Balancing. When I met Dr. Hunter in Santa Barbara, I had dropped out of the University of Santa Barbara. I was overwhelmed and stuck. When my first Aura Balancing was over, my reality was entirely different. I was clear, aligned, motivated and alert. I re-enrolled and soon graduated. I had directly experienced the healing of Quimby. In my session, Dr Hunter and her colleague cleared blocks and congestion in my aura. The aura is a morphic field that surrounds and penetrates the physical body. The beliefs held in this field inform our health and mental emotional balance. The physicist, David Bohm, called the field the implicate order. Rupert Sheldrick called it the morphogenetic, or morphic, field, meaning form making field.
The process was simple. Through a prayer the practitioner aligned with the Holy Spirit (wholeness), merged fields with the client, engaged blocks and distortions detected in the field, then dissolved or balanced these aberrations. The balancing actions occurred through a spiritual action enabled by the practitioner’s witness. The session ended when the field appeared light filled and felt whole, smooth and silky. The practitioner then disentangled from the client’s field through a closing process. The practitioner began with an intention to serve the client, but made no promises. Jesus said, “that which you tell God in secret will be given to you openly and abundantly.” That is an amazing statement. In other words, in the balancing the intention
