What if I told you that the keys & vehicle for you to achieve your own personal and financial success, are already within you... hiding in plain sight. That if you were looking for signs from God or Buddha or a Higher Power, that you could look no further than the dashboard of your own car. What ? Yes, that's right, what if every-time something went wrong in your life and you were looking to fix it, all you had to do was honestly look at the state of affairs of your current car and that it was a mirror representation of how you're actually doing in this world & what you need to actually work on to improve. Likewise, if you have no car at the moment to test this out, this is your biggest sign of all, you have NO VEHICLE for where you're trying to go, so if life were a race or a journey or a road trip to arrive at, you Sir or Madame aren't even at the starting line, you're up in the bleachers watching everything from a distance and you need to up your game. But, for the sake of the book and the analogies within it, fast forward to the point when you will have a car and or flashback to the past when you did and follow along. For example, what gave me the idea for this book was a day not to long ago about 1year and 1/2 ago. I was a newly single mom with my son Jax in the back of our car and he was crying his eyes out for me to make things better ( our electricity had just been cut off ) and in that moment I was crying my eyes out too, because I didn't know how I was going to make it through. I read all the pregnancy books and painted all the walls of his nursery and prepared all of his pureed meals 2 months in advance but the one thing I didn't prepare for was having to overnight become the breadwinner and the daddy and the security guard at night in our family and the handyman during the day, while doing and taking care of all my other responsabilites as a mom..

Everything that I had planned and worked so hard for "Having the Perfect Family" ended up just like an old transmission that you shoved too much sugar in the exhaust blowing up quiet literally and figuratively and spiritually in my pretty little face... and as I sat there for the first time in the "Driver's Seat" of the car, where before you could say I was just in the passenger seat expecting someone else to chauffeur me where I wanted to go, I realized I had to take control of my life and I HAD TO DO IT FAST because I promised myself that those tears I saw streaming down my babies face I didn't ever in my lifetime want to be the cause of twice. The world can be a very tough place and unforgiving if you allow it to knock you down and I already knew it wouldn't be the last time my son cries, but I did know that it was the last time I was going to put his or my fate in somebody else's hands. So as I sat there in my car again literally and figuratively banging my head on the steering wheel asking and praying to God " God what am I doing wrong ? God where do I go from here, God PLEASE GIVE ME A SIGN DON'T ABANDON ME WHEN I NEED YOU THE MOST" and as I put my head down in silence for one last time, it was almost as if I heard a voice in my ear saying " LOOK UP" "LOOK UP, I"M RIGHT HERE and The answers to your questions are blinking right in front of your face "!

So I wiped my tears , I took one hard look at the dashboard, something I had never really paid attention to before, I knew what the flashing gaslight sign meant because I was used to "Running on Empty" and it was nothing new and than I chuckled in my head for a moment at the comedic connection I made and than I saw a flashing lightening bolt and there in that moment I had a flash of seeing the apple fall on Newtons head and the equation E=mc2 roll of Einsteins' tongue, holy moly it was true the answers were just hiding in plain sight of my existence but I was too obsessed with complicating my life that I never thought that the simplest answers would be true.

The truth of the matter was I saw the engine light flashing and that it was no longer starting and than I thought wow my mind isn't in a good place right now either and just like this car, I'm not going anywhere fast. Because just like they say " A negative mind will never give you a positive life" well in my case it was a negative engine will never get you to your destination and you'll feel eternally stuck... and so I started thinking about the other parts of the car and how each one had a hidden message trapped inside for me to share and find out. So than I began to write them all down in my phone and that's where they would stay for one year , until I pulled myself up out of that car by my bootstraps with my baby on my side and my finances back in place.

To reach a point where I was financially and mentally and spiritually stable and replenished to be able to write this book. So without further adieu, I hope sincerely from the bottom of my heart, that this book speaks and helps at-least one soul either out of personal and or financial scarcity mindset and or prevents a mental or literal "Breakdown" in anyone else. Because I honestly believe with all my heart there's two types of mentors in this world ( actually it's funny how even the word "MENtor " has the word men in it, perhaps I should start petitioning to have the word MOMtor or womantor created lol jk idc about being politically correct, I just care about preventing others from falling through the same potholes I have that's it) so yeah, as I was saying.... to me there's two types of mentors in life you follow

1.) You follow the Athletes, the Olympians and the truly Elite operating business men and woman because they're flawless , they're constantly making sacrifices and doing everything right and conscious of what they eat, what they wear , where they go, who they know it's like a blueprint for perfection or a roadmap of where you "ACTUALLY" want to end up

and than......

you have the second type of mentors

2.) These people you follow and trust and listen to because they've walked in the fire and been to the pits of hell and know every wrong turn and where you will end up if you don't change your ways, they're a living testament to not only walking the walk but talking the talk and while most of the times these people have very shall we say "Unsavoury" pasts , is that usually they have the most beautiful souls. Because to create warmth and light in the darkness and to break free from the chains and slaughterhouse that is poverty/lower to middle class is something I believe commands just as much as respect as those who pump iron or lift weights , the only difference is that both mentors are building their mental toughness , just presenting it in two different ways.

So hopefully, my off beaten path I've taken in life can help yours be or become more smooth ;)
