Growth has no limit. I keep revising my vision. A vision has to be within reach, not in the air. It has to be achievable.
dhirubhai AMBANI
What differentiates an entrepreneur? To visualize a dream and go after it. At the end of the day, that s what you do in life. Either that dream can be so unreachable, so crazy that you never reach it-or that dream can have the inherent ability to be achieved.
parvinder SINGH
My vision is dynamic. It evolves every day as situations change and new opportunities come up.
lakshmi niwas MITTAL
I never try to jump from the ground floor to the second floor but to grow step by step.
brijmohan lall MUNJAL
Whether it is Bill Gates of Microsoft or Larry Ellinson of Oracle, the common factors are: sweat equity, innovation, a brilliant vision, a well-thought-out strategy and flawless execution.
n.r. narayana MURTHY
Nothing worthwhile is ever achieved without deep thought and hard work . . . Think for yourself . . . (and) never accept at face value slogans and catchphrases.
j.r.d. TATA
Companies that succeed are driven by internal ambition. Stock price doesn t drive them. Ambition and values drive them. You have to create tension between reality and aspirations.
sumantra GHOSHAL
Leadership is not charisma, leadership is not public relations. Leadership is performance, leadership is creditworthiness, leadership is the bottom line.
rahul BAJAJ
If I had to identify the qualities which make for a good chairman, I would choose the 3Cs: credibility, compassion and courage.
russi MODY
Leadership is the capacity to move and inspire a large number of people to act together in the pursuit of an end. The concept of leadership implies that each person in the organization is important and can make a big difference.
sam PITRODA
It is a leader s role to inspire. My job is to motivate my people. We can buy the technical expertise we need to do anything new . . . [but] by understanding the minds of men, leadership makes the difference.
dhirubhai AMBANI
As for qualities, I would say unhesitatingly that what one expects first and foremost of a chairman is character. It is that integrity of the man, that intellectual honesty and objectivity, that courage, which makes the organization trust him.
