Sample Book Insights:
#1 The Color Q system does not change people, but it does change how they view themselves. You will not be told to be more organized, assert yourself, or emulate some celebrity CEO. Instead, you will be given the freedom to operate from your deepest, most natural talents.
#2 The Color Q personality profiling system reveals your primary personality Color, a secondary influence, and an Introvert or Extrovert tendency. You should fill out Section I, choosing what you, not your boss, parents, or friends, prefer.
#3 The Blues are the theoretical, competitive, and always driven to acquire more knowledge and competence. They are highly precise in thought and language, and they are future oriented. They trust only logic, not the rules or procedures of the past.
#4 The Extrovert/Introvert dimension is a biologically based trait that has nothing to do with liking people or being socially adept. It is about getting your energy from being with people and doing group activities, while getting your energy from inner resources alone.

If your Overview sounds right, read about your primary Color first: Greens in Chapter 5, Reds in Chapter 10, Blues in Chapter 15, and Golds in Chapter 20. Then read your individual chapter, which is one of the four following your primary Color.

The Green personality is characterized by their ability to be earnest and irreverent, intense and funny, authoritative and vulnerable. They thrive in creative environments and are heavily represented among writers, TV anchors, and biographers.

#3

Greens are often found at the forefront of human interest causes. They are brilliant with people and communications issues, but their skills are often considered soft. They can be a top choice for creating lasting product brands.

#4

You are an Extrovert who is outgoing, sociable, warm, and articulate. You have an abundance of innate emotional intelligence and can interact well with most Color types. However, you are easily hurt by criticism, which can make you appear touchy.

#5

Alexandra Lebenthal, the president of a Wall Street institution, was a Green/Gold who enjoyed creating the vision for Lebenthal and Company. She was able to predict future trends and thus was able to offer new products that kept her firm strong and profitable.

#6

The worst type of work culture for an Extroverted Green/Gold is one that is tense, overly competitive, and highly political. It is secretive about critical information, and it rewards power plays over productivity.

#7

#8

You have deep personal values and care about the needs of others, which is a Green trait. You also value organization, which is a Gold trait. Therefore, you can see how each of these traits would be useful in the workplace.

#9

#12

Green/Gold Extroverts have a unique set of work-related potential blind spots. Some of these are below you, while others are not. Tone down a blind spot by focusing on it, then choose more productive actions and make them habits.

#13

#14

When interviewing with a Color that is different from your own, you should try to match your interviewer’s tone of voice and warmth. You will feel immediate rapport with an interviewer whose Color is close to yours.
