Asia is the Earth’s largest and most populous continent, located primarily in the eastern and northern hemispheres. officially known as the Kingdom of Cambodia and once known as the Khmer Empire, is a country located in the southern portion of the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia. This was once the seat of one of Asia’s most magnificent early civilizations, the mighty Khmer empire of Angkor, whose legendary temples continue to provide a touchstone of national identity – as well as attracting millions of visitors every year. Rural Cambodians wear a krama scarf which is a unique aspect of Cambodian clothing.

By one measure, China has over 34,687 species of animals and vascular plants, making it the third-most biodiverse country in the world.
