This book is for all you passionate creators, whether you are a beginner keen to learn to crochet, an experienced and skilful crocheter, or just totally hooked!

The îrst section of the book consists of basic crochet lessons and explanations of crochet techniques as well as abbreviations and advice on tools and materials.

After that you will learn to crochet the entire Rabbit family: the mother and father, Ramona and Raymond, and their two children, Rafael and Rachel. There are instructions for making summer clothes, swimwear, winter clothes and accessories for all four family members as they set o on their adventures. We will take them south to enjoy the sunshine of warmer climes; and north, for a spot of skiing and snowman-building in the beautiful, cold, snow-capped mountains.

I have been working on this book for several years and the process has been fun and incredibly educational, and sometimes hard, but that has made me even more pleased and proud of the end result. I can now proudly describe myself as a dedicated crochet and handicraft nerd, but that has not always been the case. A few years ago, during a serious illness and a long period spent in hospital, creativity and crochet oered me a haven; and crochet became my medicine. As the creative world opened up to me more and more, I gradually recovered myjoie de vivre. My new world – my creative world – gave me courage, hope and new dreams. You are now holding one of those dreams in your hands.

So if you’re ready, let’s go on an adventure together, along with the Rabbit family.
