Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Having been asked by the editor offur and feather if I would write my experiences on this most beautiful variety of Rabbit, and also having received several letters fronifanciers in diflerent parts-of the country asking me to become one of the authors of the Fancy, I have at last reluctantly complied with their request. The reason of my hesitation was because I am sure there are many others more able to give advice than I am. However, that such advice is being craved for by hundreds of young fanciers is an undoubted fact, and I may say it is the knowledge of this that has spurred me on in this direction, and if I can only feel I have assisted one young fancier in the smallest degree I shall be amply repaid for all my pains.
