Cyber Seduction: His Secret Lifeis an original Lifetime television movie which was first broadcast on June 20, 2005. It was directed by Tom McLoughlin and written by Wesley Bishop and Richard Kletter. The movie stars Jeremy Sumpter, Kelly Lynch, and Lyndsy Fonseca. It is now available on DVD.
Plot Justin Petersen is a popular 16-year-old high school student with a steady girlfriend. He is also a successful swimmer. Early in the film, Justin's coach announces that Justin has made the All-State team. This obviously pleases his parents, particularly his mother Diane, who used to swim as well. Diane is also anxious for her son to succeed in his athletic endeavours as a consequence of the fact that a scholarship could be Justin's ticket into college. The family's financial worries play a minor theme in the film. He is introduced to internet pornography when a friend sends him a link to a softcore site featuring Monica, a fellow student who has a crush on him. Enthralled by the images, Justin is later exposed to a porn film at a party, and later browses more explicit pornographic websites, only to be caught by his mother. She tells her husband Steven, but he just brushes her off, telling her that it is natural for teenage boys to look at pictures of girls. It is easy for Diane to become aware of her son's behavior, because even when Justin is first introduced to the porn world, he does little to make his activities clandestine. For example, he views images of women on his computer, yet leaves his bedroom door wide open. Although he later learns to close the door, throughout the film, Justin continues to view pornographic images in public places. Justin's late nights in front of the computer and increasing obsession with porn soon impact upon his lap times, and he betrays his girlfriend Amy's trust by downloading porn on to her PDA. He also exposes his younger brother Alex to porn, leaving him queasy. Justin soon begins to gain a reputation at school of being a "porn freak" after showing his friends S&M porn. Eventually, his addiction causes him to almost miss the All-State swim finals, where he places third. However, Justin's mother is disappointed at the result. Discovering a CD-R titledBackdoor Cum Dumpstersthat Justin had burned his porn on to, Diane confronts him and moves Justin's computer out of his room. However, this doesn't stop him, and he continues to surf the web for porn, eventually racking up extensive bills on his parents' credit cards, bringing attention to Diane about his addiction. She later discovers a co-worker's marriage had been destroyed by her ex-husband's porn addiction, alarming her further. Justin also goes to the extent of using a computer at school to access pornography and gets caught hacking the

internet firewall to do so. As a result, he is suspended from the swim team and on placed on overall probation. Meanwhile, Justin has become closer to Monica, but increasingly ignores his girlfriend. Eventually, after being pressured to have sex with him, Amy puts the brakes on their relationship. Justin then meets with Monica, who tries to seduce him. However, unsure of the situation, he hesitates and an angry Monica kicks him out of her house. Monica then throws a physical tantrum alone after feeling rejected by Justin and bangs her own head, causing it to bleed. Soon after, Justin then tries to make amends with Amy and turn his life around. After leaving Amy's house and walking down the street, he is noticed by another schoolmate, who relays to other schoolmates at a nearby restaurant that he is close by. Monica is sitting there with noticeable face injuries, and it is presumed she told the others that Justin was responsible for them. The schoolmates track down Justin and beat him up on the street, disturbed by his reputation as a "porn freak" and the incident with Monica. Depressed after being physically attacked, Justin arrives at the school's swimming pool and leaps in (presumably to drown himself). Earlier in the movie, he would be under the water fantasizing about women and pornography, but this time he thinks of all the things he has to live for. He sees images of his mother and family, the cheering that took place from the crowd when he swam, and other positive feelings. He saves himself and apparently breaks his addiction.

Ordinary Miraclesis a 2005 television film directed by Michael Switzer.
Plot Kay Woodbury is a powerful and tough judge who has not spoken to her father since he tried to involve her in a scam. At her latest case, she deals with Sally Powell, a troubled and rebellious teenager who has been in several foster homes in her life. Feeling abandoned by her biological parents, she expresses her anger to anyone who tries to grow close to her. She is given up by her latest foster parents and, because there are not any replacements available, she is put in juvenile prison. Sympathizing with her, Kay decides to take Sally into her home. Sally is initially reluctant to trust Kay and steals some of Kay's jewelry. She pawns it off in the hopes of getting enough money to move to San Francisco with her boyfriend, who is a typical bad boy. However, it only earns them $200. Kay and Sally soon grow to like each other, and Kay is especially impressed with Sally's intelligence. Sally especially seems to enjoy chess. Sally tries to help Kay impress her ex-husband Davis, who is about to marry a much younger woman. Meanwhile, Kay is going through Sally's files and finds out her biological father, James, lives near her home. She contacts him for landscaping work and they soon befriend each other. Kay does not tell him about Sally. Later, when Kay tells him, he argues with her and refuses to talk to his daughter, claiming that she would not accept him. Sally, meanwhile, has found her files and feels betrayed by Kay, as she always made clear that she has no interest in meeting her biological parents. She steals more of Kay's jewelry and runs away with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend, instead of simply selling the jewelry, robs the pawn shop and involves Sally without a warning. Upset, she demands that he drop her off, and he leaves without her. Sally returns home and is welcomed back by Kay. In the end, she decides to give her father a second chance.
