Author’s Note
To those who care about such things: I have taken many liberties with longitude, latitude, distances and road signs in order to fit my fictional town of Dockerty into a particular area. There is no Snipe Lake or rivers in the Kawartha District and the surrounding region has been elbowed left or right when necessary. This is a work of fiction and the people in the story live around Dockerty and nowhere else.
