Description

The Adventures of the Bean People
Let me tell you about a dream land I once went to called Bean Town. There was no people as such, but all kinds of beans.
There was Soya Bean. He was the towns impersonator. Everyone knows soya beans are used instead of the real thing.
Then there are the towns athletes~ the Runner Bean and Jumping
Bean. Always running and jumping about trying to beat each other.
The jolliest bean was Broad Bean. A big, round, happy bean...always laughing and joking. Butter Bean is the town's dairy bean, his shop is full of cheese, milk and cream.
Baked bean is the town baker. His shop window is always filled with bread and cakes. Coffee Bean owns the town café. He has coffee from all over bean world, and is full of cakes.
Then you have Mexican Bean and Pinto bean. One is a cheeky bandit and one is a stable owner, both excellent horse riders
King Bean is the king of Bean World has bean who has been just about everything a bean could be. And is town mayor, could have bean, spends all day dreaming of what he could have been.
Refried Bean is the farmer, supplying the town with milk and
grown goods. Great northern bean who owns the railway and all the fair lady beans who work so hard in the town.
There will be more beans joining the great bean town family as the adventures go forward and meet new beans.

The Royal Visit
The Royal Visit
Excitement was at boiling point in Bean Town today. Has Bean the Town elder (his real name is navy Bean) has called a meeting for all The Bean folk in the Town Hall. As The Bean folk started to arrive, Has Bean was finishing off his speech and the all religions and faiths reverend Bean was arranging the chairs.
“Come in, come in, take a seat anywhere.” Has Bean took his place on the stage behind a rather long table.
“Tap-tap-tap.” He banged his wooden mallet on the table.
“Can I have everyone’s attention please” he asked.
It all went quiet.

“Thank you. I guess you are all wondering why I have called you all here today… Well, we are going to have a V.I.B. visit us here in Bean Town. A very important Bean.”
“Who is it?” asked Jumping Bean as he jumped about in excitement. (Jumping Bean is one of the Towns athlete).
“Alright, calm down and I will tell you.”

It’s the King of Bean World
There was pin drop silence, then Coffee Bean (he owns The Bean Town cafe) said, “oh my gosh the king here.
Everyone was talking at once.
“Tap-tap-tap”
“Quiet please”
“Tap-tap-tap. Settle down please” called Has Bean.
Once he got their attention back the Town elder told them to go home and tidy their gardens the outsides of their house.
“I need some volunteers to help tidy up the Town square and park. Thank you all for coming, meeting closed.”
The Bean folk went home to start work on their homes. Has Bean asked his wife Honey Bean if she could as The Bean Town ladies if they could make some bunting to put up around the Town. Also some streamers to hang on the houses and shops. Honey Bean said, “I’ll go and ask them now.”
As she set off to make the arrangements. Has Bean walked through the Town clearing the weeds. As he went past the bakery, Baked Bean called to him, “have you got a minute, I have something that might be of interest to you.”
“What is it” asked Has Bean.
