Description

It is a compilation of poems, inspired by love for a therapeutic moment, and a couple of request for a piece to share with those that are closest in the deepest of heart. Together they tell a story that love has its own tolls, sometimes it's unrequited, and sometimes it feels like the deep Victoria falls, but still love embraces us and bets us to try once more.

The City Gate.
If I could describe my Ruth, It will be you, For you chose to glean despite the dangers in the field. If I could describe my Esther, It will be you, For you are my queen. If I was Rhoda with all the excitement, I would not forget to open the door for your embrace lights up my fires. If I could describe my Anna, It will be you, For you speak of my future and prophesied of my incomings. If I could describe my Athaliah, It will be you, For through you, God is exalted.
If I could retrace your steps in the land of the living, It will be an honour to have your pearls of wisdom. You live to your true self. You wear two different hats to parenthood all at once. You are painted in love and it is all clear and understood. You have an utmost noble character.
If I could describe my Vashti, It will also be you, A queen, but at times it is difficult for you to listen, can I have your ear? If I could describe my Jonathan, Without a doubt, It will be you, Even though you from the house of Soul, you still deserve kindness. For all your crafts, let them bring praise at the city gate.
After all, If I could describe my Mary, It will be you. As I am carrying my cross, look ma; I am changing the world.

The Elegant.
You are a melody of a classic, a timeless quality. When the harp gets played, a soul gets soothed. You are a glass of your favourite wine on a Sunday afternoon, You bringing out the best in terroir and fruit, Excellent on its own with a sophisticated range of vintage. Can’t seem to fathom who you are. The elegant. I am told that what you see, it is what you get. She is buckled up with truth, She shares and understand motions of another, She wears sandals full of authenticity, and is never painted with sugar-coat. Her rays helps yield energy from which life begins.
The Feisty. She is a low-key tigress with no patience to stupidity, She express that malt fairly well, And when life in the jungle hits real hard, her lioness lashes out, For her cubs are threatened. She is a sociable cat controlling its hunting grounds, Passionate about its kill, it stalks its prey.
Your teaching spirit, It rejuvenated and empowered, Yes, indeed we rode on a wave and you made it ease, You were our rose bud, And in its life to come, may it bloom into a flower, and in each seed, implant a farm of roses; your buds will bloom too. Missing you already.
