Homage to the crimpers,
audacity for the solderers,
sludge and holed and drainage
managers to maintain health,
wealth calls from the poor.
The poor give with reason,
the wealthy drains without care
while my fort keeps them at bay.
Fair play unto the livers of life.
In this day we see your value
not in pounds or ounces,
uncounted or miscalculated,
forced to work for food and shelter.
Silently you go home,
and silently you sleep.
Cast your cares on the deep.
My Jesus almost weeping,
or is he crying in joy
due to the massive followers
who take the good road.
Drained from everything
on the cross, you were giving still,
your blood, your body.
Could you find a higher gift
thrifting and shifting?
You were made poor
so we could become rich.

Sought you from your cave,
you winced, but unafraid.
Carry my problems;
they are no longer mine.
Is this a sign and place
all memories of it shall be erased?
The enemy will be cast into the pit,
but that’s enough of that,
and enough of it
as we swallow whole of this milk
that we thrive on.
Secure in our ways, his ways.
There is power in his name.
