Prologue
I see my verses as a current of fresh, often unique ideas,
tightly intertwined with our sincere and ageless emotions.
I hope you like to read them and cross the creek with care.
Epigram
I calmly woke this morning
Alone, without anybody near,
I knew, it was a timely warning,
It was up-to-date Paul Revere:
“Your loneliness is coming,
Your loneliness is coming,
Don’t wait, keep running!!!”

A Gap
I will keep dancing,
The melody is on,
I am already facing
My farewell dawn.
I wish I had a father
Who didn’t drink so much,
I had a perfect mother,
She was a real saint,
If they exist as such,
What’s good for the geese
Is good for a gander,
I’ll enjoy my life, I won’t surrender;
The second mouse gets the cheese.
No one can jump across a gap
In two half-jumps.
What is a price of victory and fame?
We jump over the tongues of flame,
And reach the edge of glory. Divorce
Divorce.
Immediately thereafter
Sand castles slid into the sea
That didn’t have the fish to fry…
Conditional remorse?
Fear, cry, a bitter laughter?
She left; I carry a black eye,
The night descended on my glee.

The end of race. The end of story.
Absurd
My verses-horses left the barn,
For me, it is a bitter pill to swallow.
I am not a pioneer; I humbly follow;
And yet, I daily spin my literary yarn.
So many times I heard,
Poor beggars can’t be choosers,
But even at the happy end,
I’d rather have a little bird in hand.
That’s worth an eagle in the bush.
Just mark my word:
Life morphs
The winners into the losers,
Life morphs
Our way of life into a wild absurd.
Ailment
I trawl my happy days in muddy waters,
I raised some pennies, but no quarters.
I witnessed bloody fights
Between my thoughts
Entirely opposite at times,
I saw the darkness killed the lights,
I saw the never-ending crimes
Under the handmade quilts of nights.
Take off your mask,
And you will face the truth;
It’s different for everyone
But what’s beyond?
A chaos, a nightmare, a void?
Take my advice:
The truth in only known to the Lord,
You settle for the lies.
I plow my mind,
I search for a new idea,
I still am empty-handed,
There is no cure, no panacea
For ailment, that is unbranded.
Amen
I reinvented Our Father’s Prayer;
Allow me to quote how it begins:
“Our Father in the skies,
Take care of our cries,
Forget our sinless mirrors,
Forgive us our sins,
Remember our heroes…”
It’s pure, there’s no hidden layer.
The temper of the times demands
Our hearts, our eyes, our ears…
No pep talks and no marching bands,
No doubts and no self-inflicted fears…
We sin now and then…
Amen.

Or rather tried:
