Introduction

Have you ever heard the old saying, “What you don’t know, won’t hurt you?” Well this is exactly the saying Candi lives by, especially when it comes to her family. All her life she has had to find ways of keeping her outside life from interfering with her family life. She never wanted her issues and problems to be revealed to her mother and sister. But with all these turns of events taken place, they are bound to find out what she’s never wanted them to know, in all her years. It seems as though her outside life has come to hunt her. She’s not a bad girl, just has some flaws she can’t control. Watch as she’s faced with so many obstacles and has to determine ways of getting out of them. Soon she will find out if her friends are who they say they are? Also will her family soon find out about what she’s done? This book touches on family values, love, relationships and most of all friendships; and the war of keeping them all together and realizing who’s really there for you in the end… “You think you know, But you have no idea!”

Chapter 1

Walking to the spot with my girls, Mo and Zanae, I didn’t know what to think. Should I, turn around and go back home, Call Chris and tell him I can’t make it because something came up, Or should I just go ahead with this shit? What have I gotten myself into I thought as I opened the door. I’m not one who does shit like this. Yeah I’ve thought about it before but never thought I would act on it. Why did I agree to this shit? I never thought I would ever consider doing a job like this if I was asked, but fuck it I have to get this money. What will my girls think of me after these chains of events? Shit fuck them what will I think of myself? Should I or shouldn’t I?
“Hello, I need to see your Identification ladies,” the security officer stated as we walked in. I instantly got a tight knot in my stomach, nervous as hell, but managed to get the words out of my mouth. “I’m here with Chris’s party; can you show me to his room please? It should be a private room here tonight.” “Yeah I see it Miss Lady, look go with Nikki here and she will show you to your location.” “Great evening ladies;” he said with a wink. What the fuck! I thought... Damn he knows too, he know what’s about to go down. He must think I’m a hoe looking for a quick buck, but fuck him I need this money. This will be the last time his fucking ass sees me anyway, so who cares.
“Girl, Mo I’m not about to go out there, did you see those guys their all white boys.” “Where is Chris?” “Here he come girl you a fool,” said Mo. “What’s up Chris, not a single black guy? I said jokingly. “You mean you the only nigga that wanted to see my fine ass strip huh?” Chris laughed... “Girl these white dudes are niggas, stop all that tripping.” “I swear Candi, ever since I showed them your picture at the office; you’ve been the talk at the jobs for about three weeks now.” “So you better get your shit on yo, and come get this bread.” “Ummmm OK, there better be money out there to be got, so get out so my girls can help me get on point for you and your nigga friends.”
“Come on Candi girl everything will be fine,” Mo urged. See my girl Monae or Mo is a real go-getter, she’s very familiar with this stripping game, she was one for five years, at least until she met that nigga Jon and he put that shit on lock. Jon put Mo up in a mini mansion, with four big dumb ass bedrooms, a walk-in closet with two floors to it, all filled with all the designer shit a girl could ask for. This girl’s backyard is huge; it has a nice ass pool, a heated Jacuzzi and a party deck. This bitch has it made and they don’t have kids so she gets everything she wants, always. Jon even bought her a purple Benz, customed made, with white leather interior for her birthday last year, and hit her with bread almost every day so shit she dropped this shit fast! But, Mo can tell when a nigga has dough and if a job is worth it, so seeing that she’s the one who requested I do this bachelor party, it must be money out there, because I know she has my back. Mo began to take out the outfits I brought for the night, while Zanae touched up my makeup. “You about to go out there and do your thang Candi, and get all those white boys money.” We all laughed because Zanae made that shit sound funny as hell. She was right though, while walking to the club I did see a lot Benz’s, Acura’s and Audi’s in the lot and shit I even think I seen a Bentley in the valet, and everyone knows those Bentleys get me wet.
“Zanae, girl can you go get me a drink?” “What you want Candi?” “Anything strong got; to get my mind and body right.” “Mo, I can’t believe I let you
