Description

I started this journey while still in high school in 1974, and I keep hope alive some thirty years later. Hopethe ingredient that brings dreams alive. So to all dreamers: keep hope alive. I tried to reach out to everyone: if you were in love or just fell out of love, if for some reason or another faith dealt you a bad card, the loss of a loved one, or maybe the birth of a newborn. Maybe its your anniversary or your birthday. Maybe destruction hit your town (9/11).Or maybe you just like relaxing and reading a good book of poetry. Whatever the case may be, my book will cover it all. For the young and the old, theres love and laughter to enjoy.

   Hey There Nei ghbor,
You Know You’re Moving Fast.
You’ve Got The Petal To The Metal,
And You’re Stepping On Th e Gas.

A Breaker, Breaker Nei ghbor,
What’s Your Resting Spot.
If Just For A Few, That I Spend Wit h You,
To Me That Means A Lot.

   old father time,
works in a mysteriou s way.
   he shapes and he folds,
all we see today.

But oh what a mi racle,
         Father time has done.
It’s such a great ple asure,
Having you for m y son.

   Noah made the boat,
To float above t he sea
   Columbus sailed that boat,
To discover sweet li berty,

   But guys li ke us,
Just you a nd me,
   Just create love,
   And let it be.

Grant me the power of just living free,
And throw in some pride and some di gnity.
Grant me the time to show all that I c an do,
And if it pleases me, why not the wor ld to.

I like to spread love from within my heart,
Love where the ending is as good as the start.
May it touch all hearts and make the m anew
Sadness or pain I’ll remove it fo r you.

To those who’re blind, I’ll show you t he way
To a land of happiness enjoy your stay.
And if you desire to stay for a while,
Your stay will be enjoyed everyday with a smile.

Grant me the words in order t hat I,
May bring some happiness to a lonel y guy.
And for those women who have no love,
For you I send prayers to the Heavens above.
And for all who’ve reached out with open hands,
Let your heart be your guide across the sands.
For no woman or man, created by God above,
Should be without happiness, or be without love.

Here is a rose, from the Heavens above,
That my God created, with all his love.
He took the seed from within his heart,
And behold a life had a brand new start.
Just like a farmer, my God sto od by,
To protect it from weather, from th e sky.
When too much sunshine was over its ’ head
God produced nightfall, for it in stead.
It stood high and tall, for all t o see,
A symbol of happiness, for you a nd me.
But this little rose, that God has grown,
Is not ours to keep for our ver y own.

Here we stand and proud we be,
We’ve come a long way, struggling to be free.
Oh yes we fought a many wars, and we lost a few,
But still we stand tall as all othe rs do.
O’ motherland does your flag wave,
To all your children, who were taken as s laves.
And to all those sacred documents, we signed to be free,
Still haven’t became, a part of re ality.
Here we stand, as the offsprings of pain,
Our forefathers died that we wouldn’t have to live in vain.
And yet in this world that we live in today,
The memories of it all, still stands in ou r way.
Here we stand on the battleground of tears,
We’ve buried a lot of brothers throughout the years.
Oh a costly price we had to give,
Just to be free, and not just to live.
We all cry, how long must this go on,
For we’ve suffered long enough, as time has shown.
Gods’ of peace, please take your stand,
For we stand as victims, we the darke r man.

In the game of poker,
   You have to know.
When to hold and when t o fold
But in the game of love,
I’m holding on t o you.
   For it’ the winning hand.

   I send these words,
   To a friend of mine.
   And I pray that m y God,
   Will somehow free the line.

For this is a long distance call,
   And it’s not a loca l one,
For my pal Anthonys’ in Heaven above
With the Father, Spirit, and th e Son.

But the touch of joy and lau ghter,
That he delivered eac h day.
Will always be remem bered,
And will never fade away.

Just for you I write this song,
Hoping it makes your day go s trong.
And if the day is longer by the hour,
I give you these words with a f lower.

Just for you, I hope time will past,
Leaving good memories that’ll last.
And for those times you were in tears,
Here’s a toast for good c heers.

For you when your clouds are black,
I pray for your sun to come back.
Cause when there’s only bad w eather
Let it be love that holds you tog ether.

Just for you may the golden dove,
Wrap his wings around your love.
And may that love stand high and tall,
And may it have security from a fall.
