Dedications
To my husband, who is always ready to help his grandchildren and who loves spending time with them; and who makes all of this possible by supporting me in my writing adventures.
To my grandchildren, who love having fun with Grandpa!
To my dad, who always enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Thank you to my children for their continuous support.
As always, I thank God for continuing to inspire and encourage me down this path of writing books in order to help children in some way.
When Mom and Dad are very busy, who can you go to if you have a question or need some help? Grandpa! My name is Colton. Let me tell you about our grandpa.
One day my brother, Dalton; my two cousins, Blake and Cayden; and I were all riding our bikes when I noticed Grandpa watching us. I could tell he was thinking about something when suddenly he waved for Cayden to come over.
“Is your bike getting a little difficult to ride?” asked Grandpa.
“Yeah, but I don’t know why,” Cayden replied.
“Wait here,” said Grandpa, and he disappeared into his shed. A minute later he came back with some wrenches. “You need your seat raised,” he said. “Let me show you how to raise your seat and check to make sure it’s the right height for you.”
Grandpa used his wrenches to loosen the seat and then raised it up. He also told Cayden that when his foot is on the pedal in the down position, his knee should only have a slight bend. When Cayden got it to that point, Grandpa tightened it up.
