Description

Sasha is a shy, sweet, dainty little dog with the most beautiful set of eyes who was afraid of everything. She was scared of loud noises and stuffed toys. She was even afraid of the soft comfy bed that her humans bought her. She also had a strange habit. She would pee everywhere - in the kitchen, in the bedroom, on the balcony, in the study. She even peed on her bed. Nobody knew why. This is the tale of an ex-breeding dog, who had never experienced life in a home, who did not know what a bed, a toilet or a dining area was and how she was schooled by the princess Leia (herself an ex-breeding rescue) into the fairest lady who became the belle of the ball. A book in the Furry Tales by Leia series.

Handle every situation like a dog.
If you can t eat it or play with it,
just pee on it and walk away.

Hi everyone!
My name is Leia and I am a rescue dog.
I was saved from a horrific life in the puppy mill
and adopted by Papa.
Sometimes, former breeding dogs like myself
do not know the concept of a home. All our lives,
we have only known the inside of a cage.
We don t know what a toilet is, nor a bedroom,
or a toilet. In the puppy mill, it was all the same
place - our tiny, dirty cage. I never saw a garden
till I was rescued.
Some of my fellow rescue dogs are afraid of collars
and leashes. Others are afraid of loud noises, big
trucks and buses, or large crowds.
Please be patient with us. Your world is different
from ours but with a bit of guidance, we will adapt.
Some of us are faster learners than others, but we
will learn.
With your love, we will learn how to be dogs again.
xoxo
Leia
