INTRODUCTION
It seems like the State of Washinton is divided into two parts---The Seattle Region the Spokane Region. This book is a photographic journey throughout part of the Spokane Region--- its forests, hills, croplands, Palouse, people, wildlife; starting with downtown Spokane, then branching out in wider wider circles. And I know without a doubt that you have not seen or photographed some of what I offer here. And Patricia has been my partner in this, as in everything else. Pat named Bidwell Water Park in Colbert after her family.

Why would anyone settle in this severe winter area? Because of its beauty and wildlife!
A couple of pre-viewers have said I need to label all the places, but it was too hard to cross reference photos with street signs, especially when I was out in the severe weather this past year, so I didn’t. Besides, it’s my book and I can do what I want. If you really need to know a location, you can email me at bryanholtrob@gmail.com , and I’ll see if I can remember.
The book is mainly very fine photographs (I am very humble), and it is an expression of my ego. If you don’t like sarcasm, put the book down.
