Thousands o peope ake par o boos heîr creaîvîy; ï emaî ou skechîng promps or  days în a row, gîvîng everyone a opîc o skech and draw, aong wîh some îps and words o encouragemen – î’s superun ï înîîay sared he chaenge în 8, and many o he peope who have parîcîpaed over he years have conînued o skech daîy. ï hope ha hîs book can provîde conînued suppor as we as a hos o urher skechîng promps.
HoW To USE THIS BooK
ï recommend readîng hrough he Irs ew secîons o hîs book beore jumpîng o he daîy skechîng promps. Thîs wî hep you o menay prepare or a daîy skechîng pracîce, gaher your maerîas and earn a îe bî more abou my approach beore you ge sared. You wî Ind a whoe secîon dedîcaed o deveopîng a creaîve mîndse, so ha you can ge he mos ou o your skechîng sessîons, however shor hey may be (see pages –7). Ater hîs comes he pracîca preparaîon – an expanaîon o wha o expec rom he promps, oowed by a dîscussîon on he oos and maerîas ha you mîgh îke o use, and hen some handy warmup exercîses ha you can use o ge you oosened up (see pages –7).

Thîs îs a abou doîng îe bîs reguary. ï shoudn’ ake you oo ong o do each day: ï am no askîng you o spend an hour skechîng every day – sîmpy a ew momens. A skech îs an experîmen. ï îs he equîvaen o pracîsîng your scaes, î you are a musîcîan, no payîng a u concer. ï îs warmîng up or exercîsîng a ew musces î you are an ahee; î îs no he Ina race. So, or an arîs or creaîve person, î îsnoa Inîshed pîece o work. A skech îs a abou workîng ou îdeas and ryîng echnîques. ï îs abou pracîsîng your drawîng skîs or honîng your paînîng echnîque. A skech can be abou recordîng, quîcky, a parîcuar îme or pace, or akîng a snapsho o a momen.

