ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
This report has been compiled from many separate reports
conducted, on behalf of the European Foundation for the
Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, by many
researchers in the various EEC countries. Although this
review has been carried out at Nottingham University, it has
been greatly assisted by the contributions of Yvon Queinnec
and Véronique Prêteur, of the Université Paul Sabatier,
Toulouse. However, the authors accept full responsibility for
any faults or errors. We would also like to acknowledge the
help of the Foundation, and especially the Foundation's
representative, Margaret Kelleher.
