From
here, you can click on the appropriate tab at
the top of the page that corresponds to the
area you want to view/modify.

page to reach your location.

- By using the copy feature, the system
assumes that the sanctioning organization is
the same for 2004 as it was in 2003. This is
consistent across all areas of the Online
Sanction Form. However, all information can
be modified if necessary.
On this page, If the
sanctioning organization information is
different, you can modify it by clicking on
'Change Organization'

- The Name and Address of the
organization can be changed if the 'play at'
facility is different than the sanctioning
organization address.

- The tournament director information
is populated from the membership database.
You can modify this information for this
tournament only or if you want a permanent
change to be made in all your tournaments,
contact Member Services
(memberservices@usta.com) The home
address and home phone do not appear on
the tournament home page. The other phone
numbers are shown but can be modified
accordingly.

- On all pages, required fields are
indicated by a red asterisk.
Note: Certain
fields are not able to be changed by a
tournament director once a tournament has
been submitted or approved.
Please pay
close attention to all information being
entered.

Fig 13
- The Entry Info Page is very
important. On this page, you can specify the
fees, Entry Type and Player Selection Type
for this tournament. You can also indicate
entry limits such as the maximum number of
events you want a player to enter. If
accepting mail entries, be sure to include the
information on Who and Where to send the
checks.

- If you are accepting online
registrations, click here.
After choosing this
option, the page will refresh and depending
on your section, you will be given an area in
which to indicate your bank information.
ALL
fields must be completed in order for you to
receive your funds after registration closes.

- The Events Page is where you
define all the events for your tournament. If
you have different level events, you can enter
up to 3 differents Event Groups for the same
tournament.

- By clicking on the appropriate
division('s) at the top, you will be shown the
available divisions in the box on the left. Click
on the divisions you want in your tournament
and then click the right arrow to move them to
the selected division box on the right.
You can select multiple divisions at one time
by holding down the ctrl key and clicking on
the desired divisions

- If necessary, you can specify the
Draw type for the divisions selected. If you
have more that one draw type, select the one
that will be used the most, and then on the
next screen you will be able to edit the draws
for each
event that are different.

- You can do the same with the draw
limit and surface.
Select the value that will be
used the most as the default.
Choose
continue.

- The default values you chose
previously will be displayed for each event.
Modify the information as necessary.
Click
the complete button.

- The General Page will allow you to
edit the tournament name. The tournament
ID # is system generated to be unique and
can not be changed.
The category has
already been defined from the previous year.
An administrator can modify this if necessary.
As a tournament director, you can post notes
to your tournament home page in the notes
field, or by using the action tournament
messages.

- The Category identifies the
tournament as a District, Sectional, Local,
etc. event. For a copied tournament, this
information is pre-filled but can be modified if
necessary. More than one category can be
assigned if applicable. For new tournaments,
it will default to Section Event but can be
modified.

- On the Sanction Fee page, you will
indicate whether your tournament is
Sanctioned or Non-Sanctioned. You will also
indicate whether you are sending the Check
by Mail or using a Credit/Debit card to pay
online. If you choose to pay by credit card,
you will be asked to enter the credit card
information.
Note: The credit card will not be
charged to until your tournament is approved.

- If you want to create a brand new
tournament, Click on New Sanction Form and
you will be brought to this initial screen

- Enter the required information in
each of the fields. If you click on the
magnifying glass icon, you will be brought
into a search feature for the respective fields.
When searching, be sure to not use the full
name of the director or facility. A partial name
for the facility or last name for the director will
pull up more results but will also most likely
include the name you need.

- Click Continue to enter the Online
Sanction Form Area.
You will then be
brought into the appropriate area for you to
enter additional information.

- The information necessary for a new
tournament is the same as it is for a copied
tournament. When all required fields are
complete, click 'Click here to finish' to save
changes and return to your tournament list

- When you are ready to submit your
tournament for approval, click submit on the
left hand side. At that time, an error message
will pop up if any of the required fields have
been inadvertanly left blank. You must fill-in
any of this information before you will be
allowed to submit for approval.
If there is no
error, your tournament will be submitted to
the appropriate administrator for approval.
The tournament will be placed in a 'pending'
status.
