Scientists have been warning for us for over 10 years and we chose to ignore their warnings. We continued to behave like spoiled children; creating our disposable society, depleting our natural resources, polluting our air and water with no regard for the consquences. Now we to pay the price. We have a limited amount of time and we must act quickly and forcefully. We need to improve air and water quality, we need to update our water treatment plants and sewage plants. We need to demand that companies use the technology to curb harmful emission into our air and water and these actions must be completed within 1-2 years with penalities that can not be ignored. I am not talking fines I am talking taking 10-15% of their annual profit for evey year they fail to comply. We need to demand more fuel efficient cars, ...
