In finalizing the report, we considered your comments on the draft report and included the comments in their entirety in appendix II. This report contains seven recommendations to assist USAID’s Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, along with the Office of Acquisition and Assistance, Food for Peace, and American Schools and Hospitals Abroad, in improving its policies and procedures for awards to faith-based and community organizations in accordance with the principles contained in Executive Order 13279.
