Description

It's Christmas Eve and Maddie eagerly awaits Santa's arrival. As Maddie's bedtime arrives mom and dad remind Maddie that Santa will only visit the houses of sleeping children, and they spark her imagination with the notion that her dreams can become her nighttime adventures. Maddie drifts off to sleep and when she opens her eyes she discovers that she's in the magical land of the North Pole. Excited to meet Santa's elves and reindeer, and filled with the holiday spirit, she surprisingly discovers that something is amiss. With little time before Santa makes his journey around the world, and with the help of his reindeer, Maddie and her dog Murphy set out to solve a Christmas mystery!

A Christmas Journey to the North Pole
“Alright Maddie, it’s snootzytime for you,” Mom said to Maddie, as she and Dad walked into her room.

“Ok, Mom.” Maddie put away her toys except the one that she loved best- a stuffed dog named Murphy that she took with her wherever she went.

“Santa won’t come to our house tonight if you’re awake,” Mom reminded her, tucking her and Murphy in together.

“I want Santa to come to our house tonight,” Maddie said with a yawn. “I’ve been good all year.”

“Oh you do , do you?” Dad joked. “Then you should get to sleep! The fun part about sleeping is your dreams. You can go anywhere and with anyone in your dreams, and every dream is a new adventure,” Dad said with a smile.

“Can Murphy come with me?” Maddie asked, closing her eyes.

“Of course! And we can’t wait to hear all about your adventure tomorrow! Goodnight, sweetheart,” Mom said as she flipped off the lights and closed the door behind her.
