Description
The division of educationnal work between teachers and specialized educators started in the 1 940's. It was first initiated with the institutionalization of the unadopted childhood sector, witch was at that time clearly separated from the school system. As a major reference in the area, inranto- juvenil neuropsychatry greatly contributed to the expansion of specialized education as a profession. This stands as beeing the major disagreement between the school education and specialized education. Between the families and the French State, the means and ways of professionalization of those two activities seams quite similar but parallel. They both developed technical and social specificities inherited from their historical division of reeducational work. With such conditions, no wonder collaboration stays problematical, despite the fact that recent initiatives have shown that cooperation obstacles can be overcome.
