As Chair of the Corporate Audit Committee, I am pleased to present the Committee’s annual report, which has been produced in line with the latest Treasury guidance. The Corporate Audit Committee’s purpose is to provide support and advice to the MoJ Principal Accounting Officer and the Corporate Management Board on their responsibilities for governance, risk management and internal control. This report covers Corporate Audit Committee activity since the last report to the Justice Board in July 2007.2.
