Leo Tolstoy was a Russian writer and philosopher who is widely regarded as one of the greatest novelists of all time. His most famous works include War and Peace and Anna Karenina, both of which are considered masterpieces of literature. Tolstoy's writing was known for its realism, attention to detail, and profound psychological insights into human behavior. In addition to his literary accomplishments, Tolstoy was also a prominent social and political thinker.
