Prayer is a powerful thing, for God has bound and tied Himself thereto. None can believe how powerful prayer is, and what it is able to effect, but those who have learned it by experience.

Introduction
“Me, find time to pray? When? How? Why?”
As you hurry through your busy, nonstop days, perhaps you have thought, No way can I carve out time or find the words to express what I want to pray . Hold on. This book was written with you in mind. Consider your lifestyle, situations and challenges for a moment, and realize that God, your Creator, wants to communicate with you. “Give us . . . daily,” Jesus taught His disciples to pray. Since prayer is our vital link to God, this book offers golden “time bites” that will help you strengthen that link.
More important than the form of your prayer is the fact of your praying frequently to keep the divine connection viable. Prayer is simply talking to God as you would talk to your best friend. Express your deepest feelings. Admit your mistakes. Ask for His help. Listen for His answers—an essential element in effective prayer!
But are you aware that you have an adversary, an archenemy named Satan, God’s enemy and yours, who tries to wreak havoc in your life? His tactic, and that of the demonic forces colluding with him, is to stir up strife and division, disrupting family relationships. The goal is to overwhelm you with fear, anxiety, anger, doubt, guilt, insecurity. Giving in to these emotions can hold you back from exercising your God-given authority to resist such attacks.
When we intercede, we stand in the gap—meaning we stand between God and the people or situations we are praying about. In spiritual warfare we battle the enemy to break his assignment, using the weapons God has provid
