I loved Donna the moment I met her, and I also loved this book the moment I picked it up. In Seek , Donna Jones tackles the question that we’ve all asked and, quite possibly, may be asking at this very moment: “God, who are You, really?” As she peels back the layers of curiosity and unveils the truth, she guides us into knowing more about the person of God, the selflessness of Christ, and the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. If you’re curious about God—if you’re seeking to know Him more intimately—this book is for you.

Ironically, my best stuff for equipping men comes from what women reveal to me about their longings and frustrations in life. One thing women tell me is that broken female culture can be sincerely insincere—well meaning but often shallow, isolating and unsatisfying. Into this world drowning in synthetic connections and spiritual life comes Donna Jones. Seek is a coffeehouse connect in the midst of the gravities of life. If it were possible to feel a warm latte with a close friend, deeply connect, and be enriched with meaning through authentic dialogue, it is waiting for you in the pages of this book!
Kenny Luck
Author, Sleeping Giant Founder, Every Man Ministries Men’s Pastor, Saddleback Church, Lake Forest, California
This book delivers exactly what it promises—an intimate personalized introduction to God. In a wonderful blend of clear biblical truths and winsome personal stories, Donna Jones weaves a delightfully engaging encounter with our living Lord. I encourage you to pick up this book and dive in. Your life will never be the same.

Acknowledgments
As every writer knows, no book is really the work of just one person. It takes a village. I would like to thank my personal tribe of friends and family who loved me, prayed for me and encouraged me to seek hard after God and his plan for my life. Without them, this book might never have been written.
To my husband, best friend and partner in life, JP: thank you for modeling what seeking God is really all about. If the mark of a Christian is love, you are the real deal in every way. Plus, I’m the only woman I know who can ask her husband virtually any Bible question and he’ll know the answer on the spot. You were my Google long before Google was invented. I am blessed.
Taylor, Kylie and Ashton, my three precious children: thank you for allowing me to use your life stories as springboards for explaining how a great God works in the lives of ordinary people like us. Words can’t even express how much I love you.
My heartfelt thanks go out to my wonderful friends at Crossline Community Church who prayed over this work every step of the way. You are the authors of this book as much as I am. A special thanks to Lori Marshall, my dear friend and partner in ministry, who gave me a deadline and made me stick to it; to Jean E. Jones, for reading my rough drafts and correcting my computer blunders; and to Alicia Hilton, who helped me facilitate the Bible study portion of this book, testing and refining as we went.
Kim Bangs and the folks at Regal Books have been cheerleaders for this project from the beginning. I am honored to work with you and to call you friends.
Finally, I want to thank my mom and dad, Don and Carol Riley, the original two who decided to seek God in our family. Because you decided to seek God, so did I. How could words express my thanks for a lifetime of love, support, encouragement and prayer? You make life fun.
