I T’S SUMMERTIME IN L ONDON , and my family and I are visiting for the week, a trip we’ve been looking forward to for months. After a long day in the city, we head back to catch the train to our place in Windsor. The sun is still high at 7:00 p.m. as we cross on foot over the Golden Jubilee Bridge. We hear the small crowd before we see them gathered near the Millennium Wheel, and we walk up casually behind them to see what captures their attention.
What we see is a man standing in the center next to a small platform. From the size of the crowd and the excitement of the m
