Praise for Chaotic Joy
Chaotic Joy is a delightful conversation about the joy to be found in the midst of motherhood. What I loved best about this book is that it was helpful. Not just inspiring—which it is. Not just thought provoking—which it is. But this book is truly mom-to-mom encouragement that can make a difference for a new mom, or any mom, in the trenches.

With questions at the end of each chapter and Bible study helps in the back, Chaotic Joy is a book I definitely recommend—not only for individuals—but for small groups as well.

Clear the nightstand and put this book within arm’s reach. Whether you’ve recently been inducted into the motherhood club or have been marching through the trenches for a while, this book is a gem for every mom.

Megan Breedlove again delivers a power-packed truth mothers everywhere should own for themselves. We as mothers would be in a far better place if we viewed our roles and our treasures from this perspective.
Amber Stockton
Award-winning Author
In a magazine era that calls us to “create our best lives,” we moms can feel so anxious—so angry—at the day-to-day reality that we give up on creating our best anything. It can be easy to think, as Megan says, that abundant life begins when the kids are grown, or happens in snippets now while (if) they’re napping. But it’s simply not true. Abundant life isn’t the elusive never-quite-ours dream we fear it is. That life is here now, and it’s in the companionship of our God, and the messy little mini-me’s He’s given us to raise. Allow Megan to come alongside you and inspire hope, joy and willingness to jump in to all God has for you today, not only as a mom, but as a woman dearly loved.

About the Author

It is not until you become a mother that your judgment slowly turns to compassion and understanding. E RMA B OMBECK
I knew a lot more about parenting before I had children.
When I became pregnant with our first child, my husband and I decided that just before she was born, I would resign my career and begin a new one as a stay-at-home mom. I spent plenty of time dreaming about how my and my baby’s life together would go. I planned to spend my days cuddling her and interacting with her. We’d play traditional games such as “How Big Is Baby?” as well as newer, more educational games, with classical music playing in the background. I would dress her in cute, girlie clothing (which would always be clean), and I’d adorn her head with hair bows (which would always stay on). I’d take her on walks or to visit the
