Description

Human beings are intricate and complex to relate with. The good news is that every person you relate with in life has a prototype in the Bible. Truly, there is no new thing under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9). In this book, the author has done an analysis of biblical characters using their strengths and weaknesses to advise the reader on how to direct his or her affairs in today's world.

The book Relationship Dynamics is a precise, biblically relevant and practical tool for families, friends and individuals. It is a book that has clearly and methodically brought an awareness to the most neglected and overlooked areas of our lives. This work is intended as an illustration of the origin, character and progressive lifestyle of some human beings in the past. It is also a guide to everyone today living their daily lives as ordained by God.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
My appreciation, love and gratitude go to my late dad, HRH Oba L.O Oyelana, Oloni of Oni (Fiwagbade 1) and my mum, Mrs R.A Oyelana (Retired Matron, General Hospital, Ijebu-Ode, Nigeria). My parents worked very hard to give my siblings and myself a qualitative education. I am immensely grateful for their love and sacrifice.

Special thanks to Pastor E.A Adeboye and Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye (General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and Wife of the General Overseer) for their spiritual parenting for over two decades. Their godly parenting has helped to shape my life.

I am grateful to Reverend Sam Lana for writing the foreword and reviewing this book.

My warm regards go to my English teacher in secondary school, Mr Kwasi Opare, who went above and beyond his duty as a teacher to follow my journey from secondary school till now. Teachers like him are very rare. You are very much appreciated sir.

My deep appreciation goes to my husband, Pastor Adeniyi Zaccheus, for his love, support and kindness, especially in this book project.

My warm and kind regards go to my three lovely children, AanuOluwapo, Oluwatobiloba and IreOluwatunde. I have said it again and again: You are the best!

Finally, my greatest appreciation goes to the Giver of life, my Maker, my Sustainer, my Everything. I love You Lord! To You alone be all the glory.

INTRODUCTION
The book Relationship Dynamics shows that relationships are not accidents of nature. Relationships exist for many reasons. One of the reasons is so that one can learn, grow and evolve to become a better person. The relationships that God has put in your life can make or mar you, hence the need to manage them well. Relationships can be complex and tricky. There are always several dynamics going on at the same time, hence the complexity. It is important to understand these dynamics in order to adequately manage the different relationships you have.

Your ability to manage relationships is a test of your maturity. Also, your ability to manage your relationships will determine whether you fail or succeed. Take for example the relationship of a child and his parents. God expressly states, ‘Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may be well with you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.’ (Deuteronomy 5:16 NKJV)

This shows that there are some relationships that could impact positively or otherwise on one’s future depending on how they are managed. The purpose of this book is to give wisdom and insight into various biblical characters so that you can learn to manage the different dynamics that show up in your relationships.
