INTRODUCTION
One Doctor’s Crusade to Find the Secret to Optimal Health
True health is not the absence of disease.
True health is emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

W hat I am about to share with you has been in the making for more than thirty years, and will singlehandedly change the way you think about living your life. Based on the untold story of aging, this message and set of strategies have the potential to radically enhance the quality of your health, your looks, and just about everything that makes you, well, you .
What I have discovered and proven through treating thousands of patients since my initial experiments with the Water Secret is that the key to vibrant health from the inside out lies in maintaining strong cells that can retain water the way younger cells do . It’s as simple as that. If you can repair your cells’ membranes (from brain cells and heart cells to connective tissue and your outermost skin cells that present you to the world) while attracting water and nutrients to them, you can fight aging and disease. You can help your body heal and rejuvenate itself so you not only look fantastic, but you also feel healthier, revitalized, and ready to participate in life to the fullest. And the best part of this program is that you can start from anywhere, no matter how fast you think your age clock has been ticking for whatever reason. The Water Secret is for everyone regardless of age, health, and habits. I’m here to prove that you can take charge of your personal remote control today and flip to a different channel, where you’ll greet a younger, invigorated new self in as little as ten weeks. This is the time it takes for virtually every cell in your body to replenish itself; so, in a lot of ways, you can really be a whole “new” person within ten weeks.
Before I explain why water—and in particular cellular water—is so important, let me ask one question: on a scale of 1 to 10, how well are you, for real? We all get the “How are you?” on a regular basis from friends and acquaintances, to which many of us reply reflexively, “I’m pretty good” or “I’m fine. How are you ?” And so the fibbing goes. But if you were to stop and really think about your well-being—how you are physically and emotionally—could you truthfully answer “ Terrific , fabulous , better than ever” ? Would you give yourself an impressive 10? Would someone you don’t know peg you at five to ten years younger than your chronological age?
In truth, very few people can honestly say that they feel their absolute best and look it, too. In my experience, most people put themselves at a 7 or maybe an 8. Even those who believe they lead healthy, robust lives give themselves a 9 and believe they (like anyone else) have room for improvement.
This book is going to show you how to move toward—and hopefully achieve—that perfect 10 and take as many as ten years off your physical age. No gimmicks; no needles; no surgery or pharmaceuticals required. In fact, you can take a short test in the first chapter that will help you to know how well you really are right now and where you could potentially be in the near future. Accomplishing this is easier than you think. You will not have to train for a marathon, go low-carb, force-feed yourself a food that you can’t stand no matter how it’s cooked, pick up an expensive habit that you hate, or commence a program during which you count down the days till it’s over. Much to the contrary, you will merely make slight shifts in what you already do, proceed at your own pace, and learn a way of living that’s sustainable for you . I’ve designed this book to be highly accessible and practical for every type of person in the hopes that you keep this on your shelf as a ref
