Foreword

By Darren Anderton

I was thrilled to be asked to write a foreword for Chris’s and Kevin’s exciting new football quiz book. With over 1,000 questions, The Greatest Football Quiz Book certainly finds out how much you know about what has been happening in the game during the past 20 years. It certainly tested my own recollection of events.
I have many fond memories from my time as a player and now that I have hung up my football boots, I still enjoy following the game and keeping up with all the latest scores and signings. This book is excellent way to check up on all those important facts and figures from recent football history and with questions on every club in the country, there really is something for everyone.
I am honoured to note that Chris and Kevin have included a section about me which includes questions about my time with Spurs and as an England player as well as my recently published autobiography. The book also contains details on many other great players such as Jurgen Klinsmann, Alan Shearer, Wayne Rooney and my old England teammate, David Beckham,
Chris and Kevin have once again put together an informative and entertaining reference guide. So, whether you are just starting out on your football journey or are a lifelong supporter of the beautiful game, all football fans should own a copy of this book.

Darren Anderton,
Former Tottenham Hotspur & England Player
