About the Author
K M Murphy was born in 1980 in Stirling, Scotland, and was brought up in a small mining village.
Her writing career began when she woke up one day and decided, “I’m going to write a book today.”
Although kept busy with a part-time job in education, another in bridal retail, doing voluntary work and being a mum and wife, she feels like she has most definitely found a new passion in writing.
Taking inspiration from her childhood and life experiences, she writes with a very down to earth and refreshingly honest tone.
Her other great loves in life are her family and friends, singing and dancing, anything sparkly, Christmas time, flavoured gins and yankee candles.
Dedication
For all brides past, and brides to be.

Introduction
I’ve been obsessed by weddings and the idea of being a bride, since I was a little girl. So when my own big day came, I just revelled in it. It couldn’t have been more perfect. I loved everything about it, even all the planning and preparation on the lead up to the big event. I’ve always been interested and drawn to anything wedding related. I love looking at wedding photos and still can’t walk by a bridal shop without stopping to have a look.
So I feel very privileged that for the past eight years I have been working part-time in the bridal industry (My dream job, really). It’s been wonderful being involved in wedding fayres, catwalks and to be able to help brides choose their dresses for their special day. It’s been such a pleasure to be a small part of helping brides create their vision for their weddings.
Every bride and every appointment is completely different and some appointments were unforgettable. Not only were the brides unforgettable but the stories and the journeys they had leading up to the big day.
There have been so many memorable moments that I’ve been a part of that I decided to note them down. This is what has led me to writing: Say Aye Tae the Frock .
This book has been put together based on real life stories to give a true insight into what really goes on in a bridal changing room. There have been tears, laughs, tantrums, nerves, hysteria and moments of pure joy.
