Description

Can the appendage of happiness be in installments? What should one do when one feels disconnected with life? Happiness is experienced in installments when genuine compassion is being slaughtered with deceit. What happens when the ladies meet unexpectedly?
Dian Chen moved to Vietnam to expand her business as a wedding planner. Tiya Gupta is a Veterinarian who opened a clinic in Vietnam. Gisele Gilbert, a creative jewelry designer moved to Vietnam to expand her business empire. The Entrepreneurial mind unlocks the way to Unconditional Love and Embracing Humor and a Voyage lasting a lifetime.
Having met randomly tickled the unspoken expressions that were eagerly waiting to erupt and be forgotten. The prattle of juicy gossips, the taste of relishing desserts, and the craving for turning the table around once again developed a tingly feeling to groove to the essence of life and chuck out the redundant baggage.
Reconnecting with Life creates a new Chapter of a mysterious journey. Lorenz Moretti, Cleavon Rojel, and Berk Sahin bring a sack containing a joy ride where each moment is suspenseful, thrilling, and humorous that rekindles the soul to tap to the upbeat appetite of affection once again.

Chapter 1 High Tea
“I have been waiting for two hours! Where are you?” exclaimed Dian.
“Oh, goodness! It got disconnected again. Why on earth is the mobile signal so patchy here?” muttered Dian. She takes her phone and taps the back with annoyance. She dials the number of her boyfriend and is stunned by his new voicemail message. She hears:
“Hello! I am Paddy, the man you are looking and waiting for. Dian, I know it shall be you again. The reason why I am not making it for tea is something you should figure out by now. We don’t connect. Even though we dated for two months, I can see you are zinging with victory, but I feel like you should read between the lines when I make excuses. Sorry! We need to breakup and I am not making it. I have a plane to catch. I got a good business deal in South Korea to set up a new hotel. Don’t frown and get on with your amazing life at the place you are now . Beep…”
Dian Chen was shocked and not feeling in triumph but felt that a dorky man just dumped her in a pathetic way. She wanted to blow up his ass for committing a crime to another level of tactlessness. What was up with men who claimed they are matured? They can’t even have the guts to breakup on your face but record a freaking voicemail to prove his insanity and outrageous behavior, considered Dian.
Dian was a thirty-one-year-old woman who moved to Vietnam to expand her business as a wedding planner and was also a florist who moved from Indon esia.
Standing out of the finest café was no joke, thought Dian. She removed her sim card and threw it into the bin. She did not want to have any sort of conversation with anyone for a few days.
After waiting for a table for twenty minutes, she sat down near the window and began gazing at the people passing by. Then she took the menu and desired to burn it. She was growing with anger and felt deeply insulted with a manner she never imagined of.
The restlessness was drowning her into a pit of hot lava slowly engulfing her strength to collapse.
She stared at the menu of mouth-watering desserts and ordered Mysterious Choco Flame with a Raspberry Macchiato . She wrinkled her brow innocently and sprayed rose water on her face. She shook her head, taking a deep breath.
Surveying the ambience of the restaurant, she noticed a young woman stabbing her dessert.
She looked toward her direction and saw her taking a fork and stabbing it continuously. Dian’s jaw dropped in astonishment and felt a mind diversion toward a woman who seemed to have an issue perhaps just like her, she assumed. She quelled an urge to say something to her, but stopped. Then she noticed that she was wiping her tears with a crumpled tissue paper.
Dian could not stop herself and went to that unknown woman. She was so sure she had a problem and needed a friend. She asked politely, “Are you alright? I am so sorry to intrude but…”
“Do I know you? Did he send you to check out how I look or how sexy I was?” answered the stranger.
“I am not surprised! So, you have a male issue, too. Another dork in town, yeah! May I join you? I have never done this thing, like intervening during someone’s privacy, but today it is a strange day. By the way, I am Dian. I am not here to check you out or check on you. No one sent me,” said Dian with sympathy.
“You said you would never intervene in anyone’s privacy, but you just did. I hope you’re not some kind of a psychic. I need a capsule to delete the memory of what just happened. Hmm…anyway, you can join me. My name is Tiya,” introduced Tiya with disappointment.
Tiya Gupta was a veterinarian for dogs and cats. After working in Bali for about three years, she opened a clinic in Vietnam and I ndia.
She had not dated anyone for about three years, as she was quite caught up with her passion toward animals. A few days ago, one of her colleague suggested she go on a blind date. Tiya found that interesting and mulled over taking the pleasure of an exploration. The worst that could happen was that she would give an excuse of an emergency if the date turned out to be a pest or a crooked monster, she assumed.
Tiya wore her heart on her sleeve and loved the chirpy day. She was looking forward to an exchange of some words of wisdom and humor with least expectations.
“I was waiting at the café patiently for an hour then got agitated, so I called my friend, and she said he was on his way, according to their conversation. I was fine with waiting for a while and began playing Raider Rush on my iPhone. I continued playing the game for a while and received a text message,” expressed Tiya disappointingly.
Tiya was in a jovial mood. She read the long message again to herself and was blank.
“Sweety, don’t get upset or mad. He turned out to be a jackass. He is not coming, Tiya. He was on his way to the court for some work. Sorr y! L ”
Tiya added, “I practically killed my Hula Hula Vanilla Chocolate Cake . It was after a long time that I tried something new, but before I could enjoy every bit of it, it was put to a halt because of some random bugger.”
“This won’t take long. I am sure you need to deal and need some space. Well…men are bizarre creatures. I am dealing with it too, Tiya. When I saw you with your odd motion of emotions, I was surprised and felt there was a connection of some sort. My boyfriend just broke up with me on voicemail,” expressed Dian wholeheartedly.
“Really! I was stood up…and he never called or said anything. It was a blind date though, but still...umm...I feel I was slapped and someone tried to leave a cherry on top,” said Tiya with annoyance. She tilted her head regretfully. She was staring at her cake with guilt. She took her fork and took a bite. The cake was soulful. She could not believe she had practically disoriented her cake. “I am sorry,” she said out loud.
Dian was looking for the waitress so she could get her order to Tiya’s table. There were so many people, so she looked back at Tiya. She asked curiously, “So, where you from?”
“I am from India. However, I was raised in Bali. What about you, Dian? What’s your story?” asked Tiya in a friendly manner.
“No story, just working on expanding my business in Vietnam. I am from Indonesia and moved here more than a year ago. With all these wedding ceremonies, some affiliations are simply wacky and exciting. That is where I met Paddy. We started to date and after two months, he claims…we don’t connect. Wh
